Taking Chances: Part 2

Leo's POV

Skye- Leo???? What are you doing here?

"I came here to see you."

Skye- Why?

I stayed silent. I was gonna congratulate her on her marriage to Austin, but I knew the real reason I was here. I didn't want to do any of that because I can't stand seeing her with another guy. I love her and I want her back. But this time, nothing will stand in my way. Well I guess I lied, because I remained silent.

Skye- Why are you here?!?!?

Again, I stayed silent. She moved closer to me.

Skye- Answer me, Howard!!!!

"Alright! Alright! Skye, I've been doing some thinking ---"

Skye- And?

"And I miss you babe." My voice started to crack and get a bit shaky.

"I......I...."

Skye- You what?!?

"I want you to come home!!!"

Skye- To what? Your bitch and that thing you call Logan?

"Don't talk about my son like that! He's done nothing to you!"

Skye- Omg this isn't fair!!!!

"What's not fair?!?"

Skye- You've never taken up for Michael like that....especially when Miss Bitch came around and insulted our whole family a couple of years ago! You've never even defended me like that! I WAS your wife! I was the one who stood by you when no one else did! Me, and your kids. We've always loved you Leo....We've always had your back. And when you just left me, it completely broke my heart. And I had to get over it soon, or you divorcing me would've made me more miserable than I already was at the time.

"Maybe if you stopped acting like a whore and a bitch during our marriage, I would've never left you. And if Michael wasn't such a spoiled brat, I wouldn't favor Logan over him. You think that everything and everyone revolves around you, including me! How do you think I felt during our marriage! I felt trapped and closed in. I felt like you were trying to control everything I did, and who I wanted to go see. I felt like we weren't how we used to be, and things were already falling apart, and I just couldn't do it anymore. It seemed like our marriage was a waste of time, and that little affair with Mateo, which was probably going on for God knows how long, that was the last straw, and I was out."

Tears began to fall from her glistening eyes, and I tried to take back what I said, but it was too late.

Skye- Is that really what you thought of our marriage? That it was just a waste of time? So all the times and special moments we shared were meaningless? Did our children mean anything you? Did I ever mean anything to you???

"Skye, please listen-"

Skye- After everything we've been through, and after all the people who stood in our way, we still were together, through our high points and lows. We still found a way to make it work. Then you just decided to end it all because I cheated one time! And I think you're a COWARD and a HYPOCRITE because you've done the same to me, regardless of whether we were married or not! Both of us were in the wrong, but at least I had a reason to do what I did. And instead of trying to fix it together, you left me....and that was the end of us. Now you're standing here trying to rekindle a flame that's long gone. But I'm not having it, Leo. You're not gonna play me for a fool again...

"Wait!"

She had already stormed out, and the damage was done. Now she'd never take me back. I just ruined everything. She was gonna marry Austin for sure...

I walked down the hall with my head hanging low when I overheard someone talking. One of the voices sounded like Austin's and the other's was unrecognizable.

(words in bold are the convo b/w Austin and Mateo)

M- Are you ready?

A- Yeah, I'm kinda nervous...what if the plan doesn't work?

M- Why wouldn't it?

What plan are they talking about?

A- Well, I invited Leo...

M- Why would you invite him?!? He's gonna ruin everything!

O- He didn't invite him, I did!

Olivia? What is she doing with them?

M- This wasn't part of the original plan, Liv! We were supposed to---!

O- Please stop yelling so loud in front of Logan! Anyway, this time, we get her, and we get her daughter. ...Ashley, Autumn...

I kicked open the door.

"Her name's Ashlyn..."

Liv- Leo honey, what are you doing here?

"Maybe I should be asking you the same question."

Liv- Baby, it's not what it looks like!

"It's exactly what it looks like!"

Liv- Please don't say anything!

"I won't. I just want in."

Mateo- I'm not sure about this guys.

"Look at it this way, if I'm on your side then you don't have to worry about me messing up your plans. And I know her better than any of you.  Sound good?

Liv- Sounds perfect....

Hey guys! I'm so sorry for making Leo the bad guy all of a sudden, but  at least I updated right?

*Proceed to throwing very huge boulders at me*

This book will end in about maybe 3-5 chapters so after that, I will work on other books. Thanks for hanging in there with me guys.

And just a spoiler alert, there will be two upcoming weddings....and tragedies, but you'll slowly figure them about when the book is over.
