A bright sparkling glare is flashed in my eyes, but it did not hurt, it was warm and comforting. The glare soon became clearer and clearer until it was an actual object. Glass frames sitting on a man's face, he's smiling at me. There is someone else, a woman, she too was smiling. I could not understand why they were smiling at me but somehow I knew I was going to be ok.
A stranger walked in, with a grim look that could terrify the devil himself. His voice was angry, frustrated, like a lion refused his prey. This stranger brought a sensation in me that I could not quite understand but I hated it. I struggle against the constricting arms of my mother as she attempts to calm me. My vision blurs and hot tears fall down my cheeks. This alerts my mother and momentarily, my father
I was tucked in a soft bed of pillows and blankets, the scent of freshly picked flowers floats around me giving me a sense of safety. I hear my mother's voice gracefully . in my ear, instead of her usual high pitched voice, the sound from her mouth a was smooth and lovely. I later learned this was called singing, and how wondrous it is.
I open my eyes to the darkness, it was silent but not for long. A large, deep moan erupts from outside my window but some how I'm don't feel that sensation I hate so much, in fact I want to be closer to it like my parents. The moans get louder and soon I see the thing making the noise. It had a large head and many yellow, glowing eyes. A metal cage surrounded it's head, it was hunched over and had one hand instead of two, its other "hand" was a large drill rusty, and dark.
