Peter’s POV:
“Come on, love…it’s not that hard!” I tried to coax Crystal into taking her first leap off of the cliff that overlooked Neverland’s waters and Skull Rock. She was over-dosed with pixie dust, so why doesn’t she just believe?
Crystal looked over the edge of the cliff then turned and clutched onto me tightly. The poor sweetheart was shivering she was so scared.
“No,” she murmured, “I’m too much of a scaredy cat. I don’t want to…” I kissed her forehead as she gripped the crap out of my shirt. I smiled down at the sight of her burying her face into my chest. She was so cute when she was scared.
“It’s okay,” I whispered, “Just believe…believe, like you believe in me.” That was the entire point of my existence. As long as people believed in me, I was here. The magic and pixie dust was just the same.
She looked up at me and smiled.
“I’ll really be okay?” I nodded.
“Only if you believe.” She turned around and took a deep breath. A large gust of wind came around and pushed her off. Crystal started falling; I became uneasy as she got closer and closer to the water.
She didn’t believe enough.
“PETER! HELP!” She called up to me as she flailed through the air. My eyes went wide as I remembered about the sharp rocks at the bottom. I leapt off the cliff and dove down to grab her.
“I’m coming! Hang on!”

Crystal’s POV:
I was within inches of the water. I was going to die. A billion thoughts ran through my head. Goodbye Peter… I thought to myself as my feet touched the water. I shut my eyes and prepared to see what happened.
A hand gripped my arm and pulled me up. I opened my eyes to see Peter smiling at me as we flew through the air. I looked down at the water and grinned.
“Crap,” I laughed, “This is real!” Suddenly green glitter fogged its way all around me, the same glitter that was around Peter when he caught me. He lifted me up to his side and we flew together.
“I told you,” He winked, “All you had to do was believe!” I laughed at the amazement of it all. We passed over Mermaid Lagoon and the Indian grounds. We eventually arrived back at the camp and landed on a log.
It was nightfall by now. The boys were all at the camp making supper. Felix grinned at my dreary state as he cleaned a boar.
I took a breath, laid down and laid my head in Peter’s lap, allowing him to wrap his arms around me as he scooted me up around my torso. He chuckled as he pressed his lips to mine. Peter pulled back and smiled.
“I forgot to tell you, your first flight always makes you exhausted.” I nodded and turned into Peter’s chest, curling up on the log.
“Yeah,” I smirked, “I sorta found that out.” Peter helped me sit up. He looked into the darkness and was staring intensively at something I couldn’t see. He stood up.
“Hey, I’ve got to go check something; but I’ll be right back.” I gave him a questioning look and grabbed his hand before he walked off.
“Be careful…” I whispered. He leaned down and softly kissed me on the mouth. Beside me, I could feel Felix’s eyes looking at us. Something told me he was hiding something, I just didn’t know what.
Peter pulled back and squeezed my hand before he walked off into the bushes. I suddenly shivered, realizing then how cold I actually was. A cloak was slowly wrapped around me.
“Here you go, sweetheart…” I looked up to see Felix smiling at me. Usually, his smile was joyful…but at the moment, he held a sad smile. He playfully hit my chin before turning back to his work.
“Felix?” I said softly. He turned and looked at me, a tear brimming his eye. I sat beside him and rested my head on his shoulder.
“Are you okay?” Felix said nothing; just rested his head on mine.
“Felix…” I said, a little bit louder. He sighed and shook his head.
“What’s wrong?”
“Nothing, I’m fine.” Felix fake smiled. I sighed and smushed my face in his shoulder. What was it with me turning my face into people’s chests and shoulders? I guess it just felt comfy.
“Please tell me, Felix…”
“Why?”
“Because I care.”
Felix shrugged me gently off his shoulder and looked me in the eyes, to the boar, and back again. I waited patiently, listening to the sounds of the boys dancing around the fire. Finally, Felix spoke.
“I…love you, Crystal.” He said, avoiding my gaze now. I showed no expression, I just nodded for him to go on.
“Ever since you came to the island, I was in love. When you first met me, you weren’t scared. You didn’t run, and you didn’t try to leave me. You let me take care of you when nobody else did…aside from Peter,” he looked up into my eyes, “You were the only one who cared for me back.”
I breathed and smiled, weakly.
“I didn’t know that, Felix… but thank you for telling me.” Felix grinned and nodded. Then he suddenly became concerned. He gripped my shoulder and stared me dead in the eyes.
“This won’t make things awkward, will it? We’re still best friends.” I laughed and held onto his hand, stroking it gently.
“Of course we’re still best friends, Felix. I won’t tell Peter either.” Felix smiled. He turned back to his work.
“Thank you, Crystal. If Peter knew, I’d be dead…literally.” My eyes widened, but I understood.
I pulled his cloak around me closer and we sat talking, waiting until Peter came back.

Peter’s POV:
So…Felix liked Crystal, did he? Can’t say I was surprised. She was positively beautiful! I was shocked to hear that he thought I’d kill him. I wouldn’t. He was my best friend. I completely understood.
I smiled to myself. Look at me, being so understanding and good. My heart fluttered a little when I realized that I had Crystal to thank for this. I turned back around to follow what I thought I saw; but nothing was there.
Something, or someone was stalking Crystal and I.
And I was going to find out what. Nothing, and nobody was going to hurt my girl.
