“When do you think she’ll wake up?” I heard Peter’s voice talking quietly from what seemed to be very close.
“Most likely not for a few hours… we drugged her pretty heavily,” the other voice was definitely Felix. Drugged? No wonder I can’t open my eyes or move… “Should we just hang her up there?”
“Yes. Nice and high…” What? High? High where?
That was the last thought I had before I blacked out…the last sound I heard was Peter’s low chuckle of amusement.

Peter’s POV:
I had never been very close to girls. Ever since I came to Neverland, I made sure that there were no girls anywhere on the island. I didn’t have anything against them; I just didn’t want them around. That’s why I only care about the lost boys.
When I was told that Crystal was the person that we needed to help save Neverland, I was shocked. I didn’t know that girls had such pure hearts. Whatever; the sooner she can bring magic back and save us the sooner she can leave and go back to where she belongs.
I stared up at the wooden cage that she was in and smirked. Beside me I could see Felix appearing from within the bushes that led to our territory. The moon overhead illuminated the cage and inside I could see Crystal fast asleep. For a second, only a second, I was attracted to her. Then that feeling went away, thank goodness.
“What will we do when she wakes up?” Felix grinned as followed my eyes to where I was staring. I cocked my head to the left and sighed.
“She’ll be delirious and frightened,” I explained, “So we can’t have her freaking out and becoming insane. What do you suggest we do?” I turned to face my best friend.
“Well, let’s bring her down before dawn and fix her up in our camp. Then you can go in and talk with her.” Felix smiled a devious smile as if he held a secret. I narrowed my eyebrows.
“What?” I asked. Felix shrugged and looked back up at Crystal, ignoring my question.
“FELIX!” I demanded. Felix looked at me shocked at my outburst.
“I just find it so amusing how you can’t feel love towards anyone and now we have a beautiful girl your age in our hands.” I wasn’t amused.
“The fact that I can’t feel love isn’t funny. Sometimes, SOMETIMES, I wish I did; but it’s physically not in my nature. I can’t feel anything not by choice, but by natural being. Crystal is pretty; but I don’t want to feel anything for her. Even if I did want to, I wouldn’t be able to. It’s a curse.” Felix frowned at my statement.
“Besides, I may be 16, but that’s the age I will always be. So in essence, I’m a hundred some years old.”
“Too bad. The boys were saying how you two would be a good couple.”
“Anyhow,” I said, changing the subject, “Make sure she’s treated the way girls are always treated here. I don’t want anyone caving in just because she’s an idiotic girl.” Felix nodded.
“Agreed; but do you really think she can help save Neverland?”
I thought about it for a moment.
“I don’t know… but she’s our last hope. If she can’t help bring back happiness, dreams, and hope to Neverland, then we’re all lost. We will all grow up even if we stay here, and we will all lose our magic.”
“So then what would we do with the girl if she can’t help?” Felix questioned. I looked up at the cage that held our last chance, our last hope.
I turned slowly back to Felix; my tone was serious.
“We will kill her.” I said before walking through the bushes to get back to the boys to explain our game plan. I heard Felix stop behind me.
“Peter, you were serious about that?” He almost seemed worried about Crystal’s fate.
I turned back and smiled.
“Dead serious.”
