Peter’s POV:

I walked back into the camp and saw that everyone had started eating. Crystal was sitting on the same log that we were relaxing on before. She looked up when she saw me saunting towards her and ran and jumped into my arms.

“Where did you go?” She asked giggly, making me smile. I held her under her legs and hoisted her up so she was comfortable and gave her a peck on the lips.

“I thought someone was watching us; but when I went to go and check to see who it was, they were gone.” Crystal’s eyes suddenly became filled with worry. She wrapped her arms around my neck and squeezed me close.

“Are you okay, love?”

“It just feels like we have no privacy… there’s always somebody watching us!” She pulled back and I let her legs fall to the solid ground so I could pull her in close.

“Honey,” I cupped her face, “I won’t let anyone hurt you, or us.” I said, meaning every single word. I kissed her nose and turned her around, wrapping my arms around her waist. She giggled as I planted a kiss or five on her cheek.

The lost boys began cat calling and hooting as we stood there before them. I smiled to myself as I watched my gang dance among themselves, flipping and jumping around the bonfire they created.

Crystal turned her head to face mine and stared deeply into my eyes. I swear, I could’ve stood there all day just looking at her beautiful orbs. I leaned in just close enough so my lips were right by hers.

“I love you.” I smiled as I said it. For once, everything seemed perfect. A red flash of heat ran across Crystal’s face as she blushed.

“I love you too, Peter.” She rested her head against mine and sighed. The warmth of the fire surrounded us as we stood there in silence with our eyes closed; enjoying each other’s company. I opened my eyes and pressed my lips to hers once more.

Felix’s POV:

I was luckily able to sneak away from the camp and head to my tent. I wasn’t really planning on watching Crystal and Peter stand there locking lips. I walked into my tent and closed the flaps behind me.

I lay down on my bed and sighed as I looked up at the canvas above my head.

“Issues, laddie?” A grimacing voice said in front of me. I sat up fast and looked to see who it was that had been hiding in my tent unknown. I caught a glimmer of a silver hook and narrowed my eyes.

“Why are you here, Hook?” The pirate walked forward and flashed a cocky smile.

“A little fairy told me that you had feelings for our dear lost girl…is it true?” My eyes widened. Nobody but Crystal and I knew about that.

“Did Crystal tell you?!” I stood up and snapped, reaching for my club. Hook held up his hands and took a step back.

“Calm down, Felix! No, she didn’t tell me. Tinkerbell did.” Tink did?! I thought to myself in horror. I knew that the fairies hated our guts; but she accepted us for who we were.

“Why did she tell you?” I took a breath and set my club down. Hook began pacing around.

“She’s been my spy for the longest time. She knows anything and everything that happens on this island.” Hook brushed past me and began circling around me. I refused to look him in the eye.

“Why?”

“Why did I send her to spy,” Hook smiled, “Because I’m working with someone to get, well, get rid of Pan.” I shifted my feet.

“You’ve got it all wrong, Hook,” I raised an eyebrow, “Peter Pan never fails.”

“He will with a weakness. And you know what, I mean who, the weakness is. After all,” He stopped pacing and stared me directly in the eyes, “She’s the same weakness you have.”

My eyes widened as I realized he was talking about Crystal! He was going to use her somehow to kill Pan off. I lunged forward and threw him across the room.

“You will NOT harm her, DO YOU HEAR ME?” I yelled, grabbing my club and taking a swing at Hook, entitling him to yell out in pain.

“We’re not going to harm her! We’re just going to make it LOOK like we are! That way we can lure Pan into a trap and get rid of him once and for all!” I shook my head and frowned.

“Crystal is here to save magic! We only have six months left before all hope is lost and we all die! Until Crystal finds the true meaning of magic and believing, we have to sit tight and wait! Also, you will not hurt Pan either! He’s my best friend!”

“A best friend in which you’d like to get rid of, am I right?” I cocked my head in question. Hook sat himself up.

“Well, he’s got your girl, doesn’t he?” Fury raged within me and I kicked Hook in the shin.

A tear escaped my eye, “S-she’s not… m-my girl…” I stuttered through tears. I loved that she was happy with my best friend; but a part of me also hurt a lot. I wanted her for myself, to have what she and Pan have… but I couldn’t.

“See what I mean, Felix?” Hook grimaced, “When Pan gets destroyed, you’ll have Crystal all to yourself.” The thought, I admit, was tempting. I shook the feeling off and took in reality.

“Listen to me, Crystal is here to do a job! She will bring back magic and save us all, then-” Hook got up and cut of me off.

“Then she leaves and goes back home to London.”

“I’ll have her memory then, Hook. Okay? Just leave me alone; and I swear to you, if I see you or Tinkerbell come within a 10 kilometer radius of Pan or Crystal, or the tents or the camp, I’ll slit your throat.” Hooks eyes widened; but he composed himself, cleared his throat and nodded before he left my tent.

I stood in the flap doorway and watched him leave. Beside me, Peter came from the bushes. A concerned look was spread across his face.

“Felix,” he spoke calmly, “You need to help me keep Crystal safe.” I nodded, scared that he heard about the love part of Hook’s and my conversation.

“Pan…I want to explain about Crystal,” Peter held up a hand and grinned.

“I understand, Felix. It’s okay. I’m not willing to hurt our friendship and loyalty over Crystal; but now that we know Hook’s planning something, we all (including the lost boys) need to stick together.”

I nodded, “Agreed. Crystal needs to find true magic and save us before we all die.” We began walking back to the camp when I stopped. Peter turned around and looked at me oddly.

“What is it, Felix?”

“Pan…what happens when she saves magic? Does she go home?” Peter looked at the ground and sighed.

“I don’t know,” he looked up, tears brimming his eyes, “But we need to wait and see.” I grinned.

“Okay.” We began walking again when we heard a high pitched scream coming from the direction of the tent. Peter’s head shot up and we began running.

“CRYSTAL!”
