Peter's POV:

How dare Felix go against my orders... I steamed to myself. I walked through the dark night until I reached the edge of Neverland's sea. The moon overhead shined so brightly that it illuminated the entire waters. Neverland had always been my home, my base, and my kingdom.

I had everything I needed. I had my freedom, my lost boys, and now I had the one with the purest heart and biggest believer of magic; but now she had a friend within my gang.  I looked over the waves that white capped their way onto the island.

A storm was coming.

"Peter...?" I heard a faint voice behind me. I turned around to see Crystal in a long, green dress with lace on the ends. Her sleeves were mid-arm long and she wore green Mary-Jane shoes on her feet. Her hair was brushed out and the dirt was removed from her face.

She looked better... but she was still my enemy.

"Why aren't you in your cage?!" I snapped, making Crystal jump. It felt good knowing that I could keep her afraid of me. That way she wouldn't want to get close to me, and I wouldn't be afraid of having feelings.

"I wanted to talk to you," She spoke with fear, "I know you overheard Felix's and my conversation." I walked over close to her face and stared at her blue eyes.

"Listen to me, and listen close girl..." My words were like ice; but I didn't care, "You're here for nothing else than to bring back the magic to Neverland, remember?" She began to back away when I grabbed her arm.

"Peter, let her go." Felix stood behind Crystal. I didn't turn my gaze from her eyes. She just stared at me with a terrified gleam in her reflection.

"Peter!" Felix's voice was getting more and more harsh as we stood there.

"I told you NOT to make friends with our guest, Felix. She is supposed to stay in her cage and think happy thoughts so she can get home as fast as possible!" I looked at Felix. He pulled Crystal out of my grasp put her behind him.

"You're not being fair, Peter! She's not an animal who is meant to be stuck in a cage!"

"She's not meant to be here at all! No girl is allowed here unless you are Tink or Tiger Lily. Stick her back in her cage and leave her in the trees!" I was getting tired of Felix now...he had never disobeyed my orders before.

"Maybe," I sneered, "You're beginning to have feelings for our guest." Crystal walked out in front of Felix and pushed me hard on my chest.

"You don't OWN me! I'm not some sort of freak animal that needs to be locked up. I'm done here! If you needed me THAT badly, you would be treating me better. I'm leaving!" She began to cry as she started running away, following the ocean shore.

"YOU CAN'T LEAVE UNLESS YOU HAVE MY PERMISSON!" I yelled as I began running after her. Leaves and twigs snapped under my feet as I also heard Felix coming after me.

"I DON'T NEED YOUR PERMISSION!" She stopped running. Crystal turned around to face me; tears soaked her pale face as she cried. I was actually surprised at how upset she was.

"I don't need your permission to leave, you don't own me, I don't belong here, and I'm nothing to you," she sobbed, "and you're nothing to ME!" My heart began to ache a little at her comment. I was always needed by my men and everyone else on the island... I was never unwanted.

"I don't need you wanting me. I'm better off alone."

Crystal stepped as close as she could without our lips touching. Her eyes looked like stars as they reflected the moonlight from above.

"You're right... you're better off alone. You're nothing but a monster."

I narrowed my eyes but didn't blink; behind me I felt Felix's presence.

"Crystal, go." He said to the distraught girl in front of me; but she didn't move.

"Why don't you go, then? Leave Neverland and leave us all to die and be doomed." I frowned. She smiled.

"You just gave me permission to leave. It's been fun, but I'm off to London." My eyes widened. I had just been conned by a girl... Felix's smile was apparent as he stood behind my back.

Crystal ran around me and gave Felix a hug. He picked her up and spun her around as if they were a couple. For a moment, I was jealous; but I wasn't going to admit it.

"Goodye Felix," she kissed him on the cheek, "Thank you for the help!"

"Bye, love. It's a shame you have to go!" She walked around to face me and smiled.

"Goodbye, Peter." I glared at her, turned, and started strutting away.

I could tell Felix wanted to follow me, but I didn't want anyone to even come near me at this point. Too many rules had been broken and I needed to be alone.

After all, isn't that what I'm good at?
