Today, Tiptonic as a band was finally announcing the new additions to their group.
This announcement was an important moment not only for the band itself but also the company and investors backing them, so everything was expected to be perfect.
Gene stepped from the van that had transported him and the other members to Diamond plaza, where the announcement was to be made. He couldn't see much of the building outside because of the sea of people surrounding him all the way to the entrance, but he expected it'll to be grand.
Once safely within the building and tucked away in a small room fitted out with large mirrors, sofas and snack tables, gene took in a deep breath. Only now did he feel that being an idol was proving to be quite difficult. The reporters and fans that had surrounded him on his way into the Diamond plaza building were relentless and very aggressive, even with the security guards guiding him by taking the brunt of the crowd's enthusiasm, he was still jostled around like a balloon filled with helium.
"This is only the beginning," Ace grinned, suddenly appearing behind gene and patting him on the shoulder.
For the event he was dressed formally in a fitted black suit and blood red undershirt. His shoulder length black hair had been cut stylishly short and his skin looked to be radiating with an otherworldly light. He was a very beautiful man, there was no denying that, and with his new hairstyle he appeared even more so.
"Soon you'll be wearing shades when going to the toilet."
If only he didn't have...that sort of personality, gene thought.
"But that's still better than having your home invaded by a fan who just wants a photo of you sleeping." Ace added in a sighing tone.
The smile on gene's face completely fell away. After partaking of those few words, Ace left gene to go get his makeup fixed while chuckling to himself. His way of joking around left a very disturbing image in genes head and if he had of seen that image, he was sure to laugh until his lungs gave out. But gene still reacted better than sasha.
"I still don't understand how the woman love him with that kind of personality." Lez grumbled as he came to stand alongside gene, tugging irritably at his cuffs.
Like Ace, he was dressed in formal attire, only his suit was dark maroon in color and his undershirt was made of a leopard print material. In genes opinion, this outfit really suited the man. Even without a tie and his hair fluffed up on his head, he appeared rather upright and wildly handsome, unlike how he normally appeared.
"He likes woman?" Gene asked unconsciously.
"What?"
"...nothing."
Gene walked over to the mirrors to check himself over and also escape the awkwardness he had created.
Today, his stylist dressed him in a silky black dress shirt with the top buttons undone to reveal his chest and tucked into plain black slacks that were made to snuggly fit. This outfit wasn't something gene would have worn in the past but right now he had to admit that it suited him really well. Though he couldn't get his hair fully cut off like ace due to the contract he signed and his new managers stubborness, he was allowed to get it cut right below his chin and had it pulled away from his face with a wire headband that wasn't visible unless you looked closer.
(A/N: This sort of headband below.)
