Chapter 8 - Much 'I can do' about Nothing

Dana's POV

September 10, Monday, 7:45pm

Rosie is sleeping on her bed. I try to wake her up but I can't. I think that she might be pretending that she is sick because of the post on the Gigi Diaries. The Gigi Diaries not just reveals the one-night-stand but even Rosie's background. I wonder who send in the post because I would do anything to kill this people.

"Rosie, wake up. Please!"

"I am sick! Don't touch me."

I put my head on her forehead and it is really hot. I take the thermometer to measure her body temperature. Oh my God! It is 40 degree.

"I just need... some pills."

"Rosie, some pills are not enough. It can't help you. Never mind, I will bring you to the hospital."

"You will be late for class."

"I will get a late slip in the hospital. Besides, it is Math. Do you think the teacher will mind?!"

Then I bring my bag with her to the hospital. Then the nurse comes over to me and Rosie.

"Darling, what happen to her?" The nurse asked me.

"High fever of 40 degree."

"Put her on the bed first. I will take care of her. Let me write you a late slip. What is you class now?"

"Math. I will tell the teacher that she is sick."

"Okay, go to your class now before it is too late."

"Thanks, goodbye Rosie."

Then I leave and go for Math. I am going to be late but I don't care. I hope no one will take about Rosie anymore because Rosie surely needs a break way too much than me.

Ellie's POV

September 10, Monday, 9:30am

Yesterday, me and Kelly show the design to Ms. Dobson and it went quite well. We have made all the changes that Ms. Dobson said about our design. We just need to sew out the dress and that all. I can see that people were still talking about Rosie and Stella. You know what; I don't care about them much as I have a lot of things that I haven't finished. It is English now and I sit next to Rubie. Apparently that she didn't a thing that I date her brother.

"Ellie, are you dating my brother?"

"No... Why?" I lie to her because when a sister finds out her brother is dating her friend, their relationship becomes awkward. I don't wish that Rubie would hate me because of this.

"For last Friday's party, my brother did ask you out."

"It is just a show."... only for last Friday.

"Should I tell to all his friends that it was a joke?!" Rubie laugh.

"Please don't." I beg her.

"Why can't you admit that you are dating my brother? I remember I saw a girl at Edward's room on Saturday. That wouldn't be you right?!"

"Fine... I am dating Edward for real."

"I know. You have written it all over your face."

"How about you, Curtis?" I smile at her but she turns angry at all a sudden.

"Don't listen to Gossip Girl. Gossip Girl are just a bunch of sh*t."

"I can see that, especially after the Rosie and Stella incident."

"I know, they got nothing to do other than talking gossip with each other."

"Anyways, who are you joining the 'Starting Point' with?"
