Chapter 11 - Sixteen Candles

Gigi's POV

October 13, Saturday, 6:00pm

Dana is with Rosie now, drinking around the bar and flirting with guys. After she said those words to Daniel, he simply leave Dana lone which makes she feel bad. He seems to get over it already but Dana still felt kind of weird about it.

Near the bars, Alex is talking with Daniel.

"Are you... dating Dana?" Alex asked.

"No, never even started." Daniel said.

"Mm..." Alex is mumbling.

"Where is Brittany?" Daniel asked.

"She is coming with her friends, I guess." Alex said.

"Are she on the inviting list?" Daniel asked.

"I did saw her card." Alex said.

"Alright. I haven't saw her around you these days. Are you in some kind of don't talking to each other...I mean at this moment right now?" Daniel asked.

"We... were busy... after starting point. She have... cheer leading practice while I am preparing... for the competition later on." Obviously Alex is trying to cover it up.

"I can see that! Tell me what is going on Alex." Daniel narrow his eyes and asked. Daniel already find out that Alex is lying.

"I... feel like she is not mine anymore. She have got occupied all the time. She don't talk to me. I am not sure if I am his boyfriend anymore. I don't how she think anymore. It is tired to maintains relationship by only one side is working!" Alex feel frustrating about this issue and it has bordering him for a while.

"Get over it, Alex. There will be a tons of girls chasing after you if you ditch her." Daniel laugh.

"If you are not dating Dana then are you... over to Dana?" Alex asked.

"Not anymore. I did have a crush on her but she reject me and I figure out that she is not my type." Daniel explained.

"She reject you?! You are so popular after the Bass. I can't find a reason that she doesn't like you." Alex laugh.

Daniel rolled his eyes to Alex.

"Alright, what is your type of girl? I can introduced some other girls to you if you want. Besides the fans mail outside the street dance room and your locker is a lot. I can't see a reason why you are not dating." Alex move on to the next topic.

"There will always be questions without answers and it is something ... none of your business." Daniel said.

"I am just trying to help you to find the prefect girl. By the way, you haven't answer me the type of the girls that you like." Alex said.

"Quiet, laid-back, down to earth, cute, open-minded and friendly..." Daniel face is blushing lightly.

"Rosie?!" Alex look at the direction of when Daniel looks.

"..." Daniel didn't answer him.

"You must be joking me?! Dana Cillen's roommate and best friends." Alex laugh.

"I can just tell you that I am not dating anyone right now. I enjoy being single." Daniel said.

"Dan, if you like Rosie then go after her. She is willing to be more than friends." Alex scan through Rosie which she sit near them.

"I don't want to hurt her like Johnny. Everything will be slow and steady at this moment. No big actions. I haven't told anything about this. Anyways, how was your bet?" Daniel move on and switched the topic.
