Chapter 14 - a Cinderella Story

Gigi's POV

October 31, Wednesday, 11:00pm

Alex saw Brittany went into the ladies lounge. 

"Brittany?! Wait Brittany." Alex yell at she but Brittany can't hear Alex at all.

In the ladies lounge, Dana saw Brittany coming in so she avoid to catch Brittany's attention because she wear exactly like Brittany.

Then Dana walk out of the room with other brunch of girls covering her up.

Alex saw Dana but he thought that it was Brittany so he go forward and grab her arms.

"Brittany, I want to have a dance with you and we need to talk." Alex whisper to Dana's ears. Dana can't believe that Alex actually thought Dana was Brittany. Dana's heartbeat is going faster and faster and she can't help with it. Alex take Dana's hand and hold her in the arm. They start dancing and Dana start to become scared.

"I know that we haven't talk for a while but I want to fixed things up now." Alex said.

"What are you talking about?" Dana asked.

"Are you mad at me that I am not spending time with you? I am sorry, I promise I will spend more time with you but you have to do the same also." Alex said.

"Alex... I..." Dana said.

"Don't say anything. I want our relationship to go back to the days that we both first started dated." Alex hug Dana and kiss her. Alex lock Dana in his arms and he rolled his tongue into Dana's mouth.

Dana saw Brittany is coming so she pull Alex and run away. Her bracelet fall to the ground and Alex pick it up.

Brittany go to the back to hug Alex and said, "Alex." 

"How can it be?" Alex look forward at the back of Dana. 

"What happen?" Brittany asked.

"Nothing." Alex said and keep the bracelet into his pocket.

"I want to have a dance." Brittany said and bring Alex to the dance floor again.

What was it we said about appearances? Yes, they can be deceiving. But most of the time, what you see is what you get.

October 31, Wednesday, 11:30pm

Right there where Rubie pick up her drink at the bar. She saw Curtis come over and she is wearing a red grown with a mask on. She hopes that Curtis can't recognize her.

"Hey, let me get you a drink." Curtis said to Rubie.

"Are you taking to me?" Rubie asked Curtis because it shows that Curtis can't recognize her.

"Yes. I am." Curtis look through Rubie in her eyes.

"Please have a seat." Curtis seat down on the bar and he face Rubie.

"Are you some girl from Grade One?" Curtis said.

"Mm... Grade Two, actually." Rubie lie to Curtis.

"I haven't saw you before, my angel." Curtis pick up Rubie's left hand and put his lips on it.

"Do you flirt with other girl's like this?" Rubie asked.

"Are you jealous?" Curtis said.

"I want to know more about you. Tell me everything." Rubie said. She pour some wine into his cup.

"I am the Golden Boy that Gigi said. Unfortunately, I am not as good as people see in their eyes." Curtis said ironically.

"Of course. You are the Golden Boy. Your smile is the most attractive things ever." Rubie try to cheer him up.
