With the heat of the argument bubbling away, the Jellicles dispersed themselves across the yard and settled down. Jellylorum appeared at the entrance of the older cat's den with a raggedy old tom holding onto her arm. It was Gus. He had a faint smile present on his thin wrinkled lips as he and Jelly tottered out. Pouncival placed an old suitcase just by the automobile for Gus to sit on, which he gladly accepted as he felt his knees begin to buckle. Tumblebrutus and Etcetera crawled over next to Pouncival and they each nuzzled against Gus' arm before resting nearby. Old Deuteronomy watched as his tribe relaxed, he longed for each of them to feel happiness as it upset him when quarrels broke out.

Old Deuteronomy:  The moments of happiness...we had the experience but missed the meaning and approached to the meaning restores the experience in a different form. Beyond any meaning, we can assign to happiness...the past experience revived in the meaning is not the experience of one life only but of many generations -not forgetting something that is probably quite ineffable...

Coricopat arched his back in unison with the soft twinkling melody, his paw stretched behind to Tantomile whom grabbed hold of it and leaned back, guiding Jemima to stand.

Jemima: Moonlight, turn your face to the moonlight, let your memory lead you, open up enter in. If you find there the meaning of what happiness is, then a new life will begin.

As she slipped to the ground, Alonzo crawled over and nuzzled his head against her shoulder. The Jellicles had joined in with the melody and all sung as one enchanting choir.

Moonlight, turn your face to the moonlight, let your memory lead you, open up enter in.
If you find there the meaning of what happiness is,
Then a new life, will begin.

Each Jellicle gazed into the far distance, the Stars twinkled brightly in the night sky alongside the Jellicle moon. Rumpleteazer propped herself up as a shooting star cascaded across the navy blue canvas of a sky, it was memorising; even Mungojerrie thought so. But the feeling of a new life, promises of hope and happiness surged through everyone at that moment and rapidly, they all rose to their paws, gazes transfixed on the dawning future. Even Gus up righted himself, just clinging onto Jellylorum for a little support. She gave her old mate a fond smile and encouraged him to forth. The old theatre cat wobbled away about a metre or so but came to a halt as Old Deuteronomy took hold of one of his shaky paws. Gus shook his head in bafflement for a moment until Jelly helped him back over to his chair.

Several cats crawled over to Gus, bowing in respect or nuzzling him in affection but he could hardly tell who was who with his deteriorating eyesight. Gently, Jelly placed her paws over his before she brushed her head against his shoulder, the old tom frowned again but once he recognised her scent, he returned the affectionate action.
