Chapter XXVI

Skylar's Pov-

Five days.

Five. Fucking. Days.

A small yelp took me out of my thoughts of my kidnapped mate, to see Asher trying to stop a squirming Riley.

"Hold her stomach." I spoke horsely. Riley's blood-red eyes met my dulled green ones and she stretched out her tiny hands towards me. I slowly picked myself up and walked towards Alex's best friend and her mate.

"What's wrong, Riles?" I asked, using the nickname Alex gave the young Eragon, making her squeal softly.

"Wanna hold her?" Asher whispered towards me, I shook my head.

"I don't have any strength, Asher."

Asher's Pov-

It's sad.

It's sad, seeing your Alpha, your leader, have no strength. To see the light in their eyes fade to nothingness.

"We will find her, Skylar." I told my Alpha as she flopped onto the floor I carefully placed Riley down and watched her crawl towards the depressed werewolf.

I let a small grin take over my lips as I saw Skylar's eyes brighten, just slightly, at Riley. My young mate sat down in front of the blonde wolf and stretched her hands towards Skylar's face.

My grin widened slightly when Skylar bent down, placing her head between Riley's tiny hands and purred. Skylar held onto Riley's waist as the young Eragon lifted herself up and wrapped her small arms around The blonde Alpha's neck.

Skylar's purrs grew loudly in volume.

Gaea's Pov-

"Oh wow, Red carpet! Holy shit, are those Curtains Satin?! I gotta get those! I heard they are so fucking soft."

"Shut up and Keep walking." A chuckle left my lips as I heard Ally speak to what was most likely my daughter.

"You're so mean. I giving you compliments on your interior. A 'thank you' would be nice." My pup grumbled. My eyes moved from the stained glass windows towards the double doors as they opened revealing my two most trusted guards and my only child.

"My queen." Ally and Lua both bowed towards me while Alex whistled as she looked around my throne room.

"Look at the size of this room. You could put so many Arcade games in here, and still have space for a pool table." Alex joked. As my child continued to look around my throne room, I examined the young Lycan.

She looked as I did when I was young, only difference is her gaining Baelfire's eyes. Her clothes were torn and her exposed abdomen was covered with patches of dirt, her bare feet covered the carpet with dirt.

"Alex." I spoke, gaining the Lycan's attention. Her grey eyes turned Dark orange as she looked at me, a hollow laugh left her lips.

"Gaea." I rose from my throne and began to walk towards the three women. A deep snarl made me freeze mid-step to see my pup's fangs had come out.

"Take another step towards Alex and I'll rip your throat out. with my teeth." A low chuckle left my lips as I heard Alex's lycan speak.

"And you are?" I asked as I finally stood in front of my pup. Laughter spilled from my lips once more when Alex's lycan, literally tried to bite my throat only for Lua to grabbed the back of her neck and pull her head back.

"Knock it off, Camlock." Lua growled at Alex's lycan.

'Camlock. What a strange name.' My wolf, Jaylik, spoke.

'Get used to the name, she'll be your new partner soon.'

"Bite me."

"Continue disrespecting the Queen and I will. Now give Alex back control." Ally spoke. A sigh left my lips as I shook my head at how Camlock refused to give back control.

"Take her back to the dungeon, Keep an eye on her and bring her back when Alex is back in control." I spoke as I walked back to my Silver throne.

My two guards bowed and exited with a growling Lycan being dragged behind Lua.
