Asher's Pov-

I smiled down at my newly found mate as Riley continued to hold onto my finger. My eyes scanned the baby Eragon's room to see a dark blue couch laying under a painting of a, Grey dragon breathing lightning, that covered the entire wall.

My head tilted in confusion when I saw two robotic samurais next to both sides of the door. They were frozen midstep with their hands on their katanas. Gwyneth was right, Baelfire did take extra measures.

A sad whine made me snap my head back to Riley to see her eyes were filled with tears.

"Don't cry, Riley. I'm right here." I whispered to the Eragon as I wiped away her fallen tears. I brought down the side of her crib, and grinned when Riley let out a soft squeal as I carefully picked her up.

I rested my body on the couch as I sat Riley down on my lap and leaned towards her, gently resting my forehead against Riley's and purred softly when the Eragon's chubby hands released my finger and instead rested against my face. My hands holding her in place by her sides.

"I'll always keep you safe, little one. I promise."

Skylar's Pov-

I smiled down at Alex, as she flops onto the queen-sized bed and let out a low purr.

"I'm getting kind of jealous of that bed." I spoke as I crawled on top of my mate when she let out another purr. Alex moved onto her back and wrapped her arms around my neck as she grinned.

"And why is that?" I tucked my head into Alex's neck and mumbled against her skin as I placed soft bites against the Lycan's pale skin.

"I should be that one making you purr. Not a bed."

"Than make me purr." I pulled back from my mate's neck to look at her with widened eyes. Alex released my neck and leaned on her elbows as her shinning light grey orbs met my emerald green ones.

"You're joking right?" I asked, still shocked.

"Not at all. I mean we're not going home anytime soon, and this is as romantic as this situation is gonna get." Alex answered as she waved her arm towards the room, we had been given.

They walls were an eggshell white, with the carpet being blood-red, and The bed's covers were satin black.

"Oh look! A Candle!" I Looked back towards the Lycan to see her reaching for a red waxed candle that looked to be barely touched.

"This room just gained so much more ambiance." Sarcasm was evident in my tone.

"Yup!" Alex replied as she sat up making me roll over, so now I lay next to my mate, who seemed to being competitively staring at the candle.

"What are you doing?"

"Baelfire said I can control elements, and I need some fire." Just as Alex finished her sentence, a very small, brief flicker of green fire lit up the candle.

"No way! I got Shego's green flames!"

"Oh, Gods. I'm mated to a nerd."

Gaea's Pov-

I snarled loudly at the quivering man, who kneeled by my throne.

"And how did Baelfire get to my child first, Kabo?" I asked as I stopped my growls and walked behind the young man resting my hands atop his broad shoulders.

"His henchman arrived at the Blood-Moon territory when we did. His elemental was too fast, killed the other five. I barely escaped." I moved my hands softly to his neck as I leaned to whisper in his ear.

"You have still failed me. I don't keep failures."

"Mist-" My hands swiftly snapped his neck. I moved away from the lifeless body making him collapse in a heap of dead limbs.

"Ally." I called my best assassin as I resumed my place on my Silver throne.

"Yes Mistress?"

"Have you found Baelfire's little hideout?" The brunette nodded as she looked at her wristguard and tapped it making a picture of the Roman Coliseum pop from Ally's wrist.

"He's hideout is below the Coliseum. What do you suggest Mistress?"

"Baelfire you clever fool. Take ten of your strongest men. Do not harm Alex, but kill whoever gets in your way. Oh and bring Lua."

Ally's eyes widened slightly at the name before she bowed and turned away.

"Right away, mistress."
