The Omega

Chapter III

ALEX'S POV-

I looked around to see everyone staring at me and Skylar. Everyone was talking in the pack link, but their murmuring halted after hearing the Alpha's voice echo in our minds.

'You better be rejecting her Skylar!' Alpha Hale spoke calmly. Skylar looked at her parents who were waiting for her to reject me, my eyes shutting as I braced myself ready for the heartbreak.

After about two minutes I felt a nose nuzzling into my fur. I opened my eyes to see Skylar's Sun yellow eyes looking at me with happiness in them, she went to softly push me down and licked my snout.

'I will not reject my mate, She is meant for me as I am meant for her.'

Skylar got off me and I stood up. Alpha Hale walked up to us in his Wolf form and glared at me, making me back up. All of a sudden three wolves stood in front of Skylar and pinned her down. I saw her eyes soon filled with fear and anger.

Alpha Hale stood in front of me and growled loudly. I looked at Luna Hale and saw she was also being held back. I didn't even had time to look back to my current Alpha as I was slammed in the face by a huge, powerful paw. The strength behind it making me fly back with my back connecting with a tree.

'Alex!!' Skylar roared as she attacked the wolves that were holding her down. My vision blurred slightly when I saw Deven and Camilo rushing towards me while Asher stood in front of the Alpha, her back bent in preparation to pounce.

I hurriedly got back onto all fours and ran towards Alpha Hale, biting the paw that was about to strike my best friend. Everyone looked to me surprised, my muzzle curled into a snarl at the Alpha who was frozen in shock as everyone else.

'I may be an Omega but no-one attacks my friends!!' I roared in the pack link. The Alpha finally backed down after staring at me for a moment and went inside, not saying anything. I felt my legs give out but before I fell, Someone picked me up.

I looked and saw Skylar's gorgeous emerald-green eyes before I blacked out.

SKYLAR'S POV-

I looked at Alex's wolf form that was in my arms, before she slowly started shifting back into her human form. I went back into the mansion and headed to the infirmary, pushing the door open with my back before gently laying Alex on her back. I looked at her peaceful face before looking lower.

My eyes stopped at her chest. By Gods, help me...Her chest was perfect, and her stomach was toned. I looked up when I heard someone growling at me. It was Alex's friends.

Asher walked to the other side of Alex and covered her with a blanket, while Camilo and Deven looked at me.

"Listen up Skylar, if you ever hurt Alex, Emotionally or Physically, We three will hunt you and tear you limb from limb. Understood?" Camilo spoke his eyes turning burgundy. I looked to them for a moment before nodding that I understood. As If I'd want her to be hurt anymore. 

I looked back to my mate to see Asher carefully wiping the blood from the cut that already began to heal. Hydra snarling loudly as she begged to be released.

I'm going to kill my father.

I kissed my mate's forehead and looked to her friends that would protect her. I used my super-speed to get to my parent's room, despite my rage I knocked and entered when my mother opened the door. She shifted slightly at the rage-induced pheromones my father and I were releasing. 

"You attacked my mate." 

"I attacked a mutt. She must've gotten a witch to trick us or something. Mutts aren't able to be mated with Alphas. Especially not one with my blood." My Dad spoke calmly moving his injured hand around.

I snatched my father's hand, holding it for a moment before crushing the bones. My mother releasing a noise of surprise but didn't move to separate us. 

"She's my mate. My pack's Future Luna. Never call her a mutt again. I will end you, father or not." Hydra and I spoke before releasing my father's hand and walked back out, heading back to my mate. I leaned on the door's side as I watched Alex had waken up and was laughing with her friends.

"I swear Alex! Everyone was shocked that you bit Alpha Hale." Deven spoke in-between laughs. Asher looking to  me and moved her head to the side telling me to come over. Alex looked at me and smiled.

"Come on guys. Let them have some privacy." Asher spoke, pushing the two boys out the room and leaving us alone. I moved to carefully sit on the bed, making it dip from the new weight.

"Thank you." I looked into Alex's light grey eyes and smirked.

"I didn't know you were so feisty." She blushed and turned away.

"It seems Camilo's promise was broken." I whispered moving my to wipe off some leftover blood from the now healed cut on my mate's head. After about a minute she stared at me with disbelief.

"You eavesdropped on my conversation with Camilo?!" Now I was the one to look embarrassed. I tried to smile at her, but she only glared making me cower back a little.

'You have no idea how jealous I was when you were talking to him.' Hydra spoke.

'And Like I'm not jealous when Brent has his arm around you!' Alex's wolf, Camlock, spoke for her. I pushed Hydra back and looked at Alex, smiling sheepishly.

"Let's talk about something else, huh?" I suggested.

"Yeah, let's."
