Chapter XXVII

Camlock's Pov-

'Camlock, what are you doing?' Alex spoke as I sat her body down on the dirt covered jail cell.

'You heard Gaea. If you get back in control they'll kill us.'

'No they're going to kill me. Gaea only needs you.' I snarled angrily at the thought of being separated from my human.

'That's not going to happen.' I declared, only for a low grunt to break Alex and me from our talk. I turned Alex's head to see the andriod had finally woke up after 5 days.

"Took you long enough, Professor." The Andriod's usually ice blue eyes were now the darkest of black as Quinnzel looked around the cell.

" What happened? And why are you in control, Camlock?" The Professor asked as she looked down at her wrist only for her eyes to widen in, what looked like fear.

" No! No, No, No! Damn it!" I grew out my claws, in preparation when the golden blonde punched the solid wall making the steel bars rattle.

"What is it?" I asked as I felt Alex's worry over her new friend.

"My watch. They took it." Quinnzel sighed as she placed her head in her hands.

" Why is the watch so important?"

"It's connected to my soul. Without the watch.. I die."

Baelfire's Pov-

"Baelfire!" My eyes looked up from the map to see Gwyneth run down the stairs to the large table in the center. The human's eyes held joy.

"What is it, Gwyneth?" I asked, my eyes moving back to the map as Skylar's father crossed off another country.

"Quinnzel's watch. It's on again!" My eyes quickly went back up to meet the human's. My hand taking the marker from Axel's.

"Where is it showing?!"

"They're in Greenland."

"Greenland? The Alpha of the island said there was nothing.." Axel spoke as he looked at the 'X' that covered the spoken island.

"Isn't The Alpha of Greenland, Rook?" All of us turned to see Skylar, leaning heavily against the wall. The effects of not having her mate around showed on the young Alpha.

"That son of a Bitch lied." Axel growled as he walked towards his daughter, sadness showed in his eyes as he carefully placed a large hand that covered his Pup's shoulder.

"Skylar, you need to be resting. The Alphas and I will go get Alex and Quinnzel. " I spoke towards my daughter's mate.

"Like Hell I will! Alex is my mate." Skylar growled at me as she tried to step towards me, her father stopping the young blonde before she even moved from the wall.

"This isn't up for arguement, Skylar. I know Alex is your mate, but you're too weak right now." Axel spoke, his voice leaving no objections.

"Dad.. Please, let me come. Let me get my mate." Skylar begged softly. Axel pulled his heir into his chest gently as he let out a deep purr.

"I'm sorry, Skylar. But no."

Camlock's Pov-

"Why the fuck is your soul connected to a fucking watch?!?!" I yelled at the andriod who narrowed her eyes at me.

"Because that's how Alex's father build me, Jackass." Quinnzel answered as she leaned back against the wall, a groan escaping her lips.

"What's happening?"

"My energy wasn't that high to begin with when I went to get you, and with out my watch it's lowering faster than normal."

"How long can you be without the watch?" A hollow chuckle left the professor's lips.

"A week at most. And It's already been five days."

'Camlock, we need to get that watch.' Alex spoke, determination in her voice.

'We can't just ask for it.'

'That's why you're going to give me back control.' I looked at my human with disbelief.

'Are you fucking nuts! Like hell I will!'

'Damn it, Cam! I'm not letting Quinnzel die because of us!' A soft whimper escaped Alex's lips as she grabbed the reigns and roughly got back control.

'Alex, you big-hearted fucking idiot.'
