The Omega

Chapter II

SKYLAR'S POV-

I looked to Alex who was riding on Deven's back, Hydra trembling with anger directed at the male wolf. I looked at Brent who wasn't even paying attention to me before turning back around only to get a glimpse of the Omega, taking notice of her smiling.

'Hydra what the fuck is wrong with you?'

'I don't know Sky, but I feel something good is going to happen sooner or later!' Hydra's tail was wagging while she pranced around in my head. Hydra knew something I didn't and that worried me. We tell each other everything and for her not to tell me, means something big.

The late bell rung and I groaned using my super-speed to get to my homeroom. I bumped into some humans along the way making them fall over. Navy Green High school was for Were-wolves and Humans that are training to be Hunters.

But These Hunters were not like the one's that hunt us down for fun. They help us and Made sure that the supernatural didn't do anything that would expose us to the human's that didn't know about us.

My teacher, Miss Erin looked at me disappointedly and dismissed me to my seat which was two seats behind Alex. Wait...I've been sitting behind her this whole year? Damn I need to start paying attention.

I noticed she was talking to her other friend, I forgot what his name was. Cory? Cody? I don't know. I decided to eavesdrop on their conversation.

"Hey Camilo, The Alpha's doing another Line-up today?" Alex had whispered staring at his eyes. Jealously quickly took over me, my eyes turning Sun yellow.

"Damn Alex, I get you're a sucker for Green eyes! And yes Alpha Hale is doing a line-up for our Future Alpha." Camilo had whispered back with a small grin. So his name's Camilo, I was way off.

Alex silently groaned, her head falling softly on the desk. I looked up to see Miss Erin had stopped teaching and cleared her throat making Alex and Camilo look up.

"Camilo, Alex. You have something you want to say to the class?" Miss Erin asked, anger clearly in her voice. Camilo smirked and looked at Alex who was glaring at him. I turned on the pack link and heard Camilo's voice.

'I dare you to tell her she's hot!'

'No way I'll get detention! And the Alpha will be pissed!'

'I'll say I dared you. I promise you won't have a scratch on you from the Alpha.'

'Fine.'

Then I left the pack link and saw Alex had nodded yes. Miss Erin looked at her and asked-

"What is it you have to say Miss Hall?"

Alex smirked, stood up straight and I had noticed I was a least five inches taller.

"I wanted to say that you're very hot for a teacher." I saw Miss Erin's face turn completely red and the whole class erupted into laughter. Miss Erin snarled making everyone shut up except me.

"Ok since you think it's that funny. You can have Detention with Miss Hall, Skylar."I rolled my eyes but didn't say anything. I saw Alex had groaned and put her head down. Camilo frowned and rubbed Alex's back, my eyes starting to glow again. Man! Hydra needs to stop with these Bi-polar feelings!

Finally the day was over but here I was, stuck in detention with Alex. An Omega. I looked over to her and saw her pencil moving lightly across a sheet of paper. I peaked at Miss Erin and saw her texting on her phone.

I stood up and walked towards the seat in-front of Alex. Her pencil stopped moving and I noticed She had tensed up, Her dark-brown bangs were covering her left eye.

"Hey." I whispered only for Alex to look up. Her eyes were Light grey and they held fear and confusion.

"No disrespect. But why are you talking to me, Alpha Skylar?" Alex's voice held fear, I also felt turned on when she said my full title. Weird.

"I'm not Alpha yet. And I just wanted to talk to you?" Alex's eyes held disbelief. I smiled showing my teeth, before dropping it when I saw Alex had gulped nervously.

Miss Erin had told us it was time to leave and Alex gathered her things quickly, and rushed out the room. I picked up my baby blue book-bag and walked out the school. I got on my bike, placed the key in, and turned it making it roar to life. I sped home knowing my parents would be pissed at me being late.

Once I closed the door to my home, I was pushed towards the Backyard. I looked behind to see It was Koh who was pushing me. I grinned and turned around, making her walk back two steps.

"Koh, what's the rush?" I chuckled, Koh was my best friend and I was lucky to have her as one.

"Your parents said to bring you to the back once you got home. And that's what I'm doing."She said, grinning at me. I rolled my eyes and took off my shirt and pants, putting them on the counter. I started to feel my bones crack, grey fur growing all over my body, my claws and Canines extending.

I trotted up to a mirror and saw the tip of my ears were covered by golden fur, the tip of my tail was too. If a pack member had the same markings as me than they were my mate and I really hoped I found them today.

I walked out side and sat by my parents who were the only ones that weren't in their wolf forms.

"You all know the routine. Skylar go ahead." My Father spoke in his Alpha voice. My ears perked up as I hopped off the little stage and went aisle by aisle still not finding my mate.

My ears drooped as I went to the last row. I looked at the wolves and saw no one had my markings. I was finally at the last wolf, it having midnight black fur. I saw it's tail had golden fur at the tip. I than looked at it's ears to see they also had golden fur at the tips.

Me and Hydra couldn't hold our excitement anymore, a joyous howl leaving me and making everyone look at me and my new found mate. They finally raised their head, and letting me look into their glowing eyes.

They were Dark Orange.
