chapter 1 Kat’s POV
“Can I come to your house after school?”
“Sure, but Hunter is gonna be home tonight.” Hunter was my neighbor, also the schools resident Bad-boy.
“We can just avoid him”
“Avoid who?” that would be him. great
“Uh, um” Jade was struggling to come up with something to say so I filled in.
“Her ex” Ya probably not the best thing to say around Hunter
“ooOoo an eeeeeexxxxxxxx, I can help with that”
“Ya I’m sure you can. You can also help me with my homework but your not gonna want to.”
“Lets run to the girls room” Jade leans over and whispers so Hunter can’t hear and stop us from getting in.
We prepare and turn, dashing down the hall with Hunter on our heels.
as I was reaching for the handle Hunter put his hand on mine. I tried pulling it out from under his and running again but he caught me by my wrist
“LET ME GO” I growled.
“Why? You won’t tell on me too much of a goodie-goodie. So is Jade”
“I am not!” Jade retorted from behind me. I knew what was coming next.
Not looking at Jade, but instead at me, Hunter said the three words that I had been worrying about ever since he came to our school.
“Than prove it”
