chapter 7 Jade’s POV

Suddenly there was a scream and Kat was gone. I had searched the whole house for her and she wasn’t there! I had been calling her name when I heard a groan. I rushed towards it when I fell. There was nothing to hang onto and I was flying through thin air, and not just any thin air, but black, dark, and musty thin air. Somewhere I hadn’t been before. There could only be one place new to me…

I sat up groggily, as I always do, and Kat wasn’t there next to me

“Kat? where are you?”

“Over here, there seems to be a gap and I can see into a room with records and a man sitting in a chair, there are two little girls spying on him. But it can’t be real!”

“I know what that is. That is the basement I was in before. You know with the ghosts.

“Well if that is the basement, then we are in a room next to the basement”

“Ummm, Kat?!!!”

“Ya what’s wrong?”

“Is that… another… s-ske-skelet-skeleton?”

“I dont think so. But they look so real, like little girls and they look like us and yo-you-your dad.”

“Ya I know, but they are ghosts, I saw them appear earlier. You know, When I wa- KAT!”

“What?”

“There is something over here, like a bookshelf or some- ya, it’s a bookshelf. What is a nice bookshelf doing down here?”

“I don’t know, does it move?”

“Ummm… let me try…”

“Want help?”

“Ya sur- oh wait, that was easy, there- OH MY GOD LOOK AT THAT!”

“It goes on for miles!” We had just come across some sort of tunnel.
