chapter 8 Kat’s POV

“Ya sur- oh wait, that was easy, there- OH MY GOD LOOK AT THAT!” She kept interrupting herself, which was kinda funny.

“It goes on for miles!” I screeched, looking down the long passage that had been uncovered.

“Do we want to take it?”

“Ummmmmm… How else are we gonna get out of here?”

“Go and hug a tree?”

“Oh ya like that’s gonna work!”

“Your way might get us killed!”

“Ya but if it doesn’t then it will actually get us somewhere!”

“Oh fine, but you’re going first!” as usual that doesn't surprise me. So I went first. We walked for about 10 miles (or what felt like it) then took a turn and it was a dead end.  We walked back and onto another path. The path here was soggy under our feet and had spider webs all along it. After walking forever, finally Jade said

“Kat we should just go back the way we went” I thought of the Kempo and I tried kicking the wall but nothing happened. I gave up and asked to rest and we both leaned up against the wall. It moved backwards. Falling back we both hugged each other

to make sure we were safe. After what felt like five minutes of falling we hit the ground and we were both very safe.
