Chapter 6: Kat’s Pov
We had been in this stinky, bloody room for a week and I was getting tired of it, not to mention hungry, sleepy, and annoyed
“Jade.” She was asleep
“JADE!!!” I hissed, poking her in the arm.
“Huh?”
“Wake up sleepy head it’s time to get out of here!!”
“Do I have to!? I’m tired!” which is totally usual
“YESSSSSSSS!!!!”She groggily woke up and looked around.
“still in the same room, silly” I teased.
“Oh stop it already. What are we gonna do? Can we go out and get some berries?”
“Jade… It’s the middle of spring. There are no berries. Berries come in the fall. Let’s just come up with a plan to get out.”
I slowly stepped out of the bathroom and into the hallway. Something swung at me again. Wow, someone was really out to get us. I ran down the hallway and into a corridor. unfortunately I couldn’t see anything
“ I know what we can do we can go back to where we were before and hug a tree.”
“Oh my god Jade!”
