Asha
I woke to find my eyes covered and my hands tied together, and my head hurts. Badly.
The symbols on my body burn and I'm not sure why but I'm pretty sure this is how it feels to be drugged. I'm dragged carelessly and I have no clue where to. I struggle and hear a voice. Its Ace's. Then a punch is delivered to my stomach and I grunt as the air leaves my chest.
"The symbols. What are they." Its Ace and he's talking to me. A hand slaps the side if my head and I try to peer beneath the blindfold. Not being able to see is making me sick. The blindfold is yanked down and I squint at the light. I'm in the church. Ace looks mad and he smacks the side of my head causing my ear to ring "What are they!"
Tears are forced out of my eyes and I look at him, but my vision is not focusing "I don't know. I don't know." I gasp for air as my chest racks. Sobs erupting from my mouth.
Ace gets up in my face and I can feel the anger radiating from him "Don't lie to me Asha." He grabs my arm and grips it tightly and I wince.
"They're birthmarks." I pull back from his grip and struggle against his idiot followers "Happy?"
He shakes his head and grabs a fistful of my hair yanking my head back wards so my neck is exposed. I bite my lip, I won't cry here. He puts his nose against mine and I look into his eyes. They're hard and merciless. "I liked you Asha. Thought you could've been a good addition to out new society. But I don't like liars." He's so close now his lips are near my ear. Him being so close bothers me and I shiver, "I said we wouldn't hurt you. But you lied." I kick my knee forward into his leg and he seethes "Stupid bitch!" My arms are let go of and they push me forward and into Ace who holds me too close for comfort before throwing me to the ground. I just collapse and lie there. I don't want to fight no more. "Get up." He spits. I just shut my eyes, I receive a kick to the stomach and he shouts "Get up freak!" I shake my head. I can't. He hurls insults at me such as witch and freak and I just block it out. A kick to my back this time causes me to scream and curl up to protect myself.
"Get the hell away from her!" I smile tears streaming from my face. Ray. Always the hero. Another kick catches me off guard to the back of the head and I see stars.

RayAce turns to face me and smiles. He holds his arms wide "Ahh Ray. Come to save the freak you had under your wing?" I nod. Seeing her in the state she is breaks me. But I need to get us out alive. Not cry for her. Ace leaves her and walks towards me as I walk away from the pew I was crouched beneath. Ace grins and scratches at his beard. "What are you going to do sunshine?"
One of his crew laugh loudly "He called him sunshine. Ya kno, 'cause his names Ray."
I shake my head and so does Ace. Whilst he is distracted I lunge out my fist striking his jaw and he reels back, then straightens up, shutting his shoulders as if it was nothing. Shit.
Then he hits me twice, once in the stomach and once in the chest and I stumble back. He moves forward and before I have chance to regain my stance he throws a punch as my jaw and it cracks, and a splinter of pain shoots up my jaw. I raise my fists in front of me but he keeps coming. Left. Right. Punch. Kick. I take each blow and I can feel warmth seeping from my nose and mouth. I hit out randomly and make a connection with something hard, Ace signals a grunt so I aim again. This time causing him to step back, I step forward too and cause him to lose his footing. He grabs me as he tries to regain his balance but instead drags us both down. As I hit the floor a bang goes off and I see a flash of his gun. And to think this was a fair fight. Ace goes slack and I panic. Did I kill him?
Then something sharp slices into my side and I cry out. Blood oozes from Ace's paling face and I look down to see his hand taught around a handle that disappears into my side.
Then he twists.
