I do not doubt or deny the existence of god
but with so many stories of gods
can you really blame humanity for having questions, doubts, an lack of faith?
my faith can only rely on that which I can see
If there is such a thing as "God"
then God created everything that surrounds me...the fields, rivers, the forests.
and through us he created everything we did
that alone deserves respect-
I was Taught young about god,
an the blinded faith of believers
where no questions belong
that god is real and god is good
nothing else was needed to know,
and that there was an angel
who fell from heaven,
They say the angel doubted, corrupted, acted against god and that alone,
Equates sin, death, despair, and hell's fire
And because of this one angel we were tainted-
I from birth was born sinful
that even as a baby I was already a monster
and Hell was already my destined punishment
that even thinking my natural thoughts would be enough to cast me right to hell,
A walled fire and brimstone everlasting jail
where the worse of nightmares never end.
But I could not accept this...on hearsay
only in death will I see the truth and whatever it may be, I await for that day an no book could convince me otherwise
