"You bitch!" I exclaimed, throwing more Holy Water onto the demon. It writhed in pain and screamed, making me smirk. It's eyes turned into black abysses again and it grinned wickedly.
"Oh, come on sweetie. Just because I brought up your sweet little sis-"
"SHUT THE HELL UP ABOUT MY SISTER YOU EVIL SON OF A BITCH!" I screamed, willing Sam and Dean to work faster.
"But that's the fun of it." The demon carried on smiling evilly and I lost it.
"Now you listen here, you bastard. Don't ever speak a word about m-" I was cut off as I was yanked forward. I looked down just in time to see my foot had crossed over the red line of the Devil's Trap. Shit. The demon grabbed me, trapping me in it's embrace. Despite the Devil's Trap disabling it's powers, I still couldn't break free. "SAM! SAM! SA-" My screams were cut off by the demon's hand over my mouth. I continued struggling and screaming, but to no avail. Tears welled up in my eyes. Sure, the demon couldn't do anything without it's powers, but I hated the feeling of helplessness. That I couldn't do anything about it. That I had to wait for my boyfriend to come and save me, like some sort of damsel in distress. Though that thought did comfort me slightly, they'd be here soon.
I heard them calling my name, and the demon's grip on me tightened. "Looks like loverboy's here. Go on, scream. Not gonna help." It sing-songed, releasing it's hand from my mouth.
"SAM! SAM! DEAN!" I screamed. Their voices grew louder, until they were banging on the locked door, shouting my name. "SAM!" I cried.
"Oh, damn it!" I heard Dean shout, and then the door was busted open. Their eyes widened as they took in my state.
"You son of a bitch!" Sam shouted, fists clenching.
"Sammy! I'm okay, it pissed me off and I got too close. I stepped over the line and it grabbed me, but I'm fine, okay? I'm fine, baby." I said. He sighed angrily.
"Okay, doesn't matter anyway. This bitch is going straight back to Hell." He seethed, starting to mutter the exorcism curse in Latin. I always loved how he could memorize it just like that. Suddenly it's grip on me tightened and he grabbed my neck.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you." The demon sing-songed again. "One more word and I snap her neck." I gulped, and Sam paled. Dean cursed quite loudly, and I looked at him, also noticing the half-full bottle of Holy Water next to him. I looked at him, and then at the bottle. He seemed to get it, and the demon's eyes were focused on Sam. I then averted mine to Sam. He was biting his lip and had tears in his eyes, which then brought tears to mine.
"What do you want?" Sam said through gritted teeth.
"What, Sammy?" The demon taunted.
"What. Do. You. Want? Let her go, and you'll get it." Sam repeated. "And only they get to call me Sammy, bitch." I had to grin slightly at that.
"What do I want? Oh, the list is endless. But right now? Freedom. You let me walk out of here, and you can have your precious girlfriend, Winchester."
"Sam, don't listen to it! You can't let it walk outta here!" I exclaimed.
"I can and I will." He growled. "Fine, let her go and you walk out of here."
"SAM!" I shouted.
"I am not letting it hurt you." He said.
"Sam's right. One demon is not worth your life." Dean cut in.
"So let her go, and we'll let you walk." Sam growled again, looking it in the eyes.
"Ha! You think I'm stupid?! She's not walking until I'm out of the building." It said. Sam tensed, but nodded. He rubbed out a section of the Devil's Trap, allowing it to drag me through, still keeping a tight hold on my neck. We got to the doorway.
"NOW DEAN!" I shouted, flinching slightly at the coldness of the water Dean had thrown on us, the Holy Water. The demon screamed and shook, breaking it's grip long enough for me to run out of it's way, long enough for Sam to run around it with salt, long enough to trap it again. Sam wrapped an arm around me as he muttered in Latin, and I grinned as the black demon smoke billowed from it's mouth and into the air vent, straight back to Hell.
"Baby, I swear I am never letting you out of my sight again." Sam murmured as we lay in the motel bed later that night. I sighed contently and snuggled further into his chest.
"Sammy, how many times do I have to tell you? I-"
"You're fine, I know. But I'm not. We shouldn't have used you as bait. It's-"
"Part of our job." I finished, looking up at him. He looked back down at me with a look that could make anyone blush, especially me.
"Yeah, but you're not just some other hunter we're working with, baby. I love you. And you know what happened last time my girlfriend got involved in this shit."
"Sweetie, I really don't want to upset you, or offend you, but I know what I'm doing. I'm used to this stuff." I knew he still felt guilty about Jessica.
"And I still almost lost you today." He deadpanned. I sighed and leaned my head into the crook of his neck, placing a kiss there.
"But you didn't. I love you too, by the way." Sam tightened his arms around me and rested his head on top of mine, kissing my forehead.
"I'm still never letting you out of my sight again." He said. I giggled and leaned up, kissing him softly.
"That's fine by me."
