Iris's P.O.V.

I watched my girls play out front with Luna. They seemed happy enough. Watching them filled me with pride. I believe they were pretending to be us. Jazz was Jeff, Luna was Slender Man, and Opal was me. I chuckled at it. It was cute.

Jazz held a sharp stick in her hand and pinned Luna to the ground. "Go to sleep." she whispered in Jeff's same devilish voice. That frightened me horribly. As I heard it, it honestly sent chills down my spine. It didn't sound like a child's voice, filled with innocence and playfulness. She sounded as if she were going to use the stick and puncture Luna.

I watched carefully. Sure enough, Luna struggled out and began to hit Jazz. Jazz fought back. Where as Luna's small hits were cute, definitely just childish roughhousing, Jazz's were different. She threw a pretty heavy blow to Luna's chest, knocking the wind out of the kid.

"Jazz! Be gentle!" She didn't hear me. She threw another punch, this one knocking Luna to the floor. Luna was coughing and hacking, trying to regain her breath. Opal was too busy doing something else with dolls to notice or care. I got up and ran out there.

"Jazz, I'm counting to three. By the time I'm at three, if you don't stop this, you're in big trouble." Another punch. "One." A kick to the chest. "Two." Slamming into the grass. "Three."

I grabbed Jazz by the wrist. When I saw her eyes, I didn't see my baby. I saw Jeff. Nothing more than Jeff at his most brutal. It startled me. Jazz's cold gaze met mine, it fed on my shock and fear. However, her eyes quickly changed to panic once they saw mine change to fury.

"Jazz Morticia Philips, goddammit! What are you doing?! You just beat up Slender Man's daughter, your best friend! What are you thinking, young lady?" I took her by her hand and pulled her into the living room, where I sat her down. On the couch.

"This will be discussed later." I ran back out to Luna, who was crying. I gave her an ice pack and put a bandaid on the cut that Jazz put on her forehead when she shoved her to the ground. "I'm calling your father. He will be here in a moment." I dialed Slender Man and got his answering machine. "Hey, Slender Man. The kids were play fighting and Jazz got a bit too serious. She hurt Luna pretty badly. Coming to get her isn't a bad idea. Call me back or come here and pick her up when you can. Thanks. Bye."

I went to check on Opal. She was still playing harmlessly out front. Jeff was doing something with Jack, Masky, and Hoody and I was in charge of the girls. I didn't expect things to go to shit like that. It was most brutal I think I've ever seen Jazz. I sat next to my daughter, wondering what I'd just witnessed.

I say next to Jazz, confused about her beating of Luna. "What was that?" I asked. Jazz shrugged. "I dunno. I was playing, and all of the sudden, she tackled me, and I got a funny feeling."
