Chapter 1: The Crush Thingy.

Tobin's POV.
I hear my alarm and I can't help but scream. "Gawd nohhhhhghh!"
5:30 in the morning, and I have to get my ass off my bed, my beautiful, comfy, great bed. I hear footsteps and my door opens. I see my dad slightly scared and I can't help but laugh.
"You okay there Toby?"
"Yeah, just kinda don't wanna go to school today."
"Ohhh, you just kinda don't wanna go to school? Is that it? Well, I just kinda don't wanna go to work either. Wanna stay at home and maybe take a nap?"
"For real?" That really surprises me.
"God no, get your ass up and go shower" he says while laughing and gets out of my room. "You stink Tobin" He screams outside of the door.
My dad and I live alone, since my mom and dad are divorced and my mom is the most homophobic person I've ever met, I decided to go live with my dad. We've been here in Diamond Bear Cali since like I was 13-14.
I get out of bed, take some clothes and go to shower.
After maybe 1 hour I'm ready to go to school. I decided to throw some jean shorts, a white shirt and white snickers.
I go to my car and park it on my usual spot.
"Welcome to paradise" I mute to myself.
I walk to my locker and take my things out.
"'Suuuuuuuup!" Kelley screams making me jump.
"Gawd Kelley, you scared me!"
"Whoa, someone's moody today...No worries dude, it's Friday! And guess whose throwing a party? Yeahhh! Totally me! So I expect you to be at my place by 7:00, if you're not there I'll assume you don't love me anymore" she says while adding some dramatic moves.
"Gawd, I never did. Oh look! There she comes! The one who loves you!" I say while Hope is walking near us.
"Shut it you stupid! She can't know!"
"Hey Hope! Kelley's throwing a party at 7! You in dude?" I scream to Hope while Kelley's having a major crisis.
"Sure Bro! See you later!" She says and waves, and just like that she's gone.
"Your welcome dork" I say to Kelly, who seems to be in some kind of transe or something. "You're so over heels for her" I say while laughing.
"No I'm not! I'm totally okay with her coming to the party. I don't even care."
"Sureeee"
We head to the first period and magically the times flies by and the day ends as quick as it started.
I go to my locker and open it.
"Soooo are you gonna tell her?" I hear the squirrel's voice.
"Tell her what? And who are you taking about?" I'm slightly confused.
"Uhm, Alex you stupid! Are you gonna tell her about your crush thingy?"
"Gawd no! I don't wanna make her uncomfortable, besides, She's with Serv" A sadness wave hits me but I brush it off.
"Gawd Tobin! I'll punch you in the face if you don't tell her."
"But wh-" I'm interrupted by Kelley. "Hey Alex! Anyways, see you at the party guys. Buh-bye!" Stupid squirrel.
"Hi Toby" I hear my favourite raspy voice and I turn around to face her.
"Hi Al! You going to the party?" Say  yes say yes say yes.
"Yeah! You going? If you're not going mind hanging out with me?" God I love her.
"Sure! I'm going, but if you don't feel like partying we could do something else?" Kiss her Tobin kiss her! God she's so perfect.
"Uhm, how about we hang at my place, and then go to the party?"
"Yeah! Sounds good!" I throw my Million Dollar smile.
"Oh crap! I forgot! Serv has my car...mind if we go in your car?" He's so lucky to have you Al.
"Not at all! Maybe we could go to your house, you get ready and I'll go to pick up your car at Serv's house? Let's be honest, you take forever to get ready."
"You're such an ass! You're right tho."
I smile again. God, this girl makes me so happy. "You take forever-ever-ever-eveeeeeer" I start singing at Andy Grammer's song "forever".
"Knock it off Heath!" Alex says while punching me in the arm.
"Okay okay, let's go."
We walk to my car and I start driving to Alex's place.
I decide to make small talk since we were in comfortable silence.
"Sooo, how's Serv?"
"I actually broke up with him. We're in good terms tho"
"What? When??" I feel anxious to know why she broke up with Serv, he's such a good guy.
"Uhm, I like someone else...."
"Woahhh! Who? Why didn't you told me? I thought we were best friends?"
"Because I was planning on doing it tonight! Are you mad at me for not telling you?"
"No, not at all"
I turn on the radio and Nevada by Vicetone starts playing. Alex starts singing, and I can't help but think about what happened. Does this means she likes a boy or a girl? And why didn't she told me when it happened? I mean I'm her best friend....does she likes me? Oh god....does she likes me?!
My mind starts to think more and more, and I don't realize that we are at Al's place until I see the big house.
"Uhm so, I'll park my car here and I'll go to pick up yours. Please be ready when I come back?" She giggles. Isn't she perfect?
"Yeah, sure thing Toby. See ya later alligator!" She waves and gets out of te car. I also get out of the car and head to Serv's house.
