Before I start getting into the story, I wanted to tell you that it's a bit different from the books since I don't quite remember all the right dates and times when something happened. Also the name which stands at the top usuallly is the point of view i am writing it from.

'Oh goddammit not again' I thought as I realized that I was running late again like I did every year on the first day of school. A habit I adopted over the years, which cost me many detentions.

"Ah, Miss Thomson! Running late again? Sit down on the free seat. Ten points from Gryffindor", Professor Snape snapped (I could feel the smirk on his face, without looking at him it hit me with cold air) as I entered the classroom. He must have had eyes on the back of his head, he still viewed the writing on the blackboard as I opened the door quietly.

'Bloody hell.', I grumbled in my head as I saw that the only free seat was next to Malfoy, who seemed absent. "Miss Thomson sit down... Now!!!", Snape yelled at me, following Malfoy to wake up from his daydream, "She can't sit with me, she is a filthy Gryffindor".

Some of the Gryffindors in the room sneered back at Malfoy. "Detention for both of you! For talking back to me like that", Snape said calmly and the whole class went silent. His eyes glared I anger that he tried to hide.

I've always wondered how he did that, he can make the class quiet in a matter of seconds. I wish I've had this power too. "Thanks, Thomson now we BOTH have detention because of you.", Malfoy whispered so quietly nobody else could hear it, but loud enough for me to hear it clearly. I knew he looking at me in disgust but I honestly didn't care. Even if he was broken, he had his chance to be nice to me once and if he didn't take it, it was his fault. Also, it was not my fault, he sneered back at Snape like that I have literally done nothing.

As expected DADA was a literal disaster. Not only had to talk to Malfoy and had to hear his filthy insults but also in total, the class was pretty boring. I really missed Professor Lupin, he became really important to me over the course of the third year. He even told me his old nickname, his friends used to call him, 'Moony' and I sometimes call him that in secret because I know he despises it. Overall, he has been such an interesting Professor and I actually learned something, more than i learned with Profesor Quirrel or Lockhart. He was pretty cool back then, but ever since he "retired" to be in the Order, he got old and boring which doesn't mean I disliked him. He was like a wizard dad to me, we really cared for each other he was like a father figure to me. That didn't mean I didn't love my real dad, but Moony knew more things about what happens in the magic world than my Muggle father did.

After I finally left the stinky classroom, I discovered I had a free lesson and fully took it. Somehow I felt that Ginny would have a free lesson too, so I went on looking for her. I wanted to talk to her, tell her about the disaster (also known as DADA).

I was in the dark dusty corridor that leads to the Potions classroom when I saw Dean and Ginny snogging, I didn't intend to disturb any of them, so I turned around and paced away to the Gryffindor common room hoping to find some of my friends.

But instead, I just found Lavender Brown and her friends, "Hey Lyds! Do you know if Ron knows me? Does he have a girlfriend?...". Ginny was right!

"Lavender stop", I hissed at her, "He definitely knows you. Didn't you notice that you creep on him like a ghost? And no I don't think he has a girlfriend, Happy? Also, don't call me Lyds that doesn't sound good if it comes out of your mouth. Bye". Lavender rolled her eyes and mumbled something, I couldn't figure out what.
