It was my first day of kindergarten and I can't wait but I'm also really scared.  What If nobody likes me or wants to play with me?

Mommy Is In a rush today she is running all over the place like a mad woman. Hopefully we'll leave soon.

We finally arrived and mommy looks really calm right now.

As we walk into my class I see the colorful walls filled with artwork form other kids. I see all the friend groups and because I'm so excited to make some new friends I let go of mommies hand and run over to one of the girls who was standing with one of her friends.

'HI' I say to the girl

She turns to me and gives me a disgusted look and then turns back to her friend.

Wonder what her problem was. So I look around to see if there are any other kids that weren't talking to anybody because then they wouldn't be so rude. I saw a boy that looked very lonely so I decided to go over and say he.

"HI" I say excitedly the little boy In front of me

"HI" he said back but he didn't look up at me

"I'm y/n what's your name" I ask trying to get him to talk to me

"Liam" he said quietly

"You don't like talking do you?" I say with a giggle

"I'm just nervous about today"

"Don't worry so am I, I was scared that I wouldn't make any friends but now I have you so I'm okay"

"We're friends?" he asks with a giggle

"Yep" I say back to the boy

Present day

That west the first day that I met my best friend of 13 years now. Ever since that day we've been Inseparable and I trusted Liam with my life. the only bad thing about having Liam as a best friend Is that now that has on tour with his band I don't really see him so I'm stuck with our other two friends (Dylan and Mason) I don't mind though I'm close with those two just not as close as Liam and I are.

So I'm at Mason's house (In the basement) right now on my phone scrolling through limas Integra because that how much I miss him while mason and Dylan play pool. then I hear the front door open thinking that It was Masons mom with the pizza we asked for but when I got upstairs I see a man (from what I can see) In a black foodie and black jeans with black and white converse.

I instantly scream and run down the basement again when I reach the door I fall on the rug that was just outside of the room because it was a stupid rug and kept folding over itself. I hear the masked stranger running toward me and I try to crawl away but the man's already grabbed my legs. Just then Mason and Dylan emerge from the basement door and tackle the guy to the ground. I hear the guy cough very violently but somehow I recognize the sound. I go over the guy and throw the foodie over his head exposing the guys face.

Liam.

"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU WERE DOING" I shout at Liam while the other two boys try to stop their hearts from beating so fast and trying to slow their breathing down

"Well hello to you too" Liam said with a smirk

"Not funny" I say seriously then run to the second floor of the house and climb onto thru roof

At all our houses we give our roofs easy access, every one of us enjoys the outdoors but the roof was just a small part of that. the roof was also my place where I can think about anything and If I'm being honest I could spend hours up  here without a care In the world.

After about 5 minutes out here I zone out, completely unaware of my surrounding. Unknowingly Liam climbs onto the roof with me while I still look at the stars

"Sorry" Liam says giving me a heart attack because I didn't realize he was here with me

"Jeez don't scare me like that dude" I say breathless

He just laughs and apologizes again

"But what are you doing back I thought you were still away for another month "I ask

"Decided to surprise you" he says while looking at me with that cheeky smirk of his

"And you couldn't have told Dylan and Mason so that they didn't practically die when you grabbed me"

"That wasn't the original plan" he laughs

"So how was the band" I ask not really caring but I was just being nice

"You don't really care" he laughs again. I swear I spend too much time with this boy

We sit in a comfortable silence for a few more minutes while my head was resting on limas shoulder and his head on mine while my eyes are closed.

"actually there Is a real reason why I came back early, the rest of the boys are still In end with char lies family but we had no shows or anything so I just decided to come back to tell you" he explained

"Tell me what" I ask my eyes still closed

I feel him move from me so but me being me I'm too lazy to open my eyes so I just throw my head back

Suddenly I feel something warm breathing on me, knowing that it was Liam trying to scare me I Ignore It

"Liam I know your trying to scare me but bra-" I say before I get cut of my something warm resting on my lips I open my eyes in shock seeing Liam kissing me with his eyes closed. And If I'm being honest it felt nice and not awkward at all so I kiss back. The kiss ends after a couple minutes

Liam sits back down and I rest my head against his shoulder once again and I can't help but blush

"you don't know how nervous I was to do that, I legit spent the whole plane rider=e thinking about how I was going to do It and after you ran It ruined everything but If I'm being honest that couldn't have been more perfect"

I nod In agreement. Liam and I spent the rest of the night on the roof just watching the stars and thinking about life. Needless to say he was my Mr. Right all along
