I was out with a ex.

Yes , I did say ex. I mean I'm not getting any attention from Skylar and I be bored up in the house almost all day. I can't just wait until she has time for me because then that'll be days , weeks , months or years from now.

Jordan: You okay?

I looked up at her and smiled.

Me: Yeah , just thinking.

Jordan: Bout what?

Me: My girlfriend honestly.

Jordan: Ehh , don't think about her right now , your out having fun with me while she's doing whatever she's doing.

Me: I know but-

Jordan: Ah ah ah , no buts.

I laughed and shook my head at her.

Me: Okay fine.

Jordan: You ready to go?

Me: Not yet , I'm still eating.

Jordan: Damn and I thought I ate slow.

I threw her a playful glare.

Me: Shut up. I do not eat slow.

Jordan: We've been here over 30 minutes and your still not done.

Me: Hey , not my fault that I don't inhale my food like some people.

Jordan: I did not inhale my food.

Me: Yeah? Then where is it?

Jordan: Shut up.

I laughed and pulled out my vibrating phone , my smile faded once I saw Skylar's name pop up on it.

Jordan: What is it?

Me: Um nothig , she just keeps on calling.

Jordan: Why?

Me: I don't know.

Jordan: Why wont you answer it?

Me: I just don't feel like talking to her right now.

Jordan: I don't understand you right now.

Me: Understand what?

Jordan: When we were together , even if you were mad at me you'd still answer my calls , texts or anything else , but now when your with Skylar and your mad at her , you don't answer her calls or anything else. Why is that?

I honestly had no answer to it.

Me: I-I don't know.

She said nothing else but began to gather her trash since she was now done eating. I did the same and we threw it away and walked out the restaurant after paying.

Jordan: Lemme ask you something , is it because you know that you and Skylar don't have that bond like you and me had?

Me: No , that's not it at all.

Jordan: Then what is it?

Me: I-I don't know.

Jordan laughed.
