Hurts Like Hell Jason (Todd / Red Hood x oc)

Been to long

I decided to move out of that room, there was too many memories and I couldn't take it. I didn't move to far since I would have to move my stuff. I took the room two doors down for it, it was smaller but I would do nicely, since it was just me.

I moved my clothes in there and now was getting may bit and bots but as I was coming out, I bumped into someone "oh sorry.." I looked up to see who it was, to my surprise, it was Bruce. He gave me a sad smile "its okay... Ashley, i've been meaning to talk to you" Bruce said, I nodded as I walked to the other room.

Bruce followed in but seemed confused at first but understood once he saw I was setting up here. I sat on my bed and looked to him "what's up?" I asked, he sighed as he sat next to me "i've been terrible.. you lost someone dear to you and... i've been ignoring you for some time now... i'm so sorry" he whispered as his head fell. In all my years working with Bruce i've never seen him like this.

We sat there in silence but I knew I had to say something "Bruce... I... you've done so much for me. I understand... jason's.. death, you were more effected." I said as I placed my hand on his shoulder. Bruce sat up and looked to me, I was looking at him though, I stared straight ahead.

I felt his taking my hand "... thank you, Ashley... I also came to.. talk about the training sections..." I looked up to him as to tell him to go on "well, I says you've shown devotion... but I need to ask. Do you want to continue as lupus?" I was took by this question, why would I train for all of this to then not continent as- wait "what do you mean?" I asked as I turned to look at him.

Bruce sighed before looking into my eyes "i'm asking if you'd like to carry on the robin name... I understand if you don't" he said but I just stared at him, I stood up and started to paste back and forth "i-i... I not sure what to say. You want me to replace Jason, I cant do that. I WAS HIS GIRLFRIEND, YOU DONT ASK THAT" I raised my voice but then I turned to Bruce "i cant think straight right now" he nodded as he stood up and walked to the door "thought I should give you the choose... i'm really sorry" he then left but I just stood there, I rethought what he just said.

I sighed before getting up and heading to dicks room. I needed to get out of here and dick would be the only person who might take me, id ask alfred but I dont want to bother him much. I got to dicks room and knocked on it, I heard foot steps, the door opened and there stood dick in his nightwing suit "hey ash, whats up?" he asked as he left the door open for me "hey, I was going to ask you if youd like to go for a walk but... your clearly going some where" I said as I sat on his bed.

Dick was fixing his hair before turning to me "im actually heading to mount justice... you should come with me, everyones been asking for you" he smiled before picking up his mask, he headed out and I followed behind "wait they have?" I asked as I caught up with him. We walked down the stairs towards the bat cave "yeah... I mean, I feel guilty with what happened. They want to know if you're okay" I sighed but soon we got to the cave "sure... id like to see everyone, its been long"
