I sent my lawyer to Cali. Since she won't answer her damn phone! That was tha only other thing I could think of. I would talk to her myself, but she's ignorin' me...and I'm locked up! Its been four months...and I'm sick of this shit. But, I hope Mariah will consider what I'm tellin' her...through Jimmy that is.

*Atlanta*

Kayla POV:

I'm still very much pissed off from that meetin' I had with Mariah. I'm not a violent person, but she pissed me off. Do I need to apologize? Maybe so. Will I do it? No. I just expressed how I felt. But, I know I fucked up bad with August. So ain't no fixin' that. He made that clear. But, I'll give him time to get over it...

*Calabasas*

Mariah POV:

Me: "Ava Pooh!"

She smiles and reaches fa me. Ava's gonna be hea' fa awhile. And when I say awhile, I mean bout a month and a half cuz Aug is out doin' what he does. But, I offered cuz I miss my Ava...

Me: "My lil beybe. Daddy was smart ta accept my offer. Cuz you woulda been left wit Smoke crazy ass"

I freshen and dress ha up, do ha hair, then go downstairs into tha kitchen. I cook some small pancakes and cut'em then put'em on a plate. And I play in ha curls

Me: "I still can't believe you're one. Stop growin'"

She smiles at me and my phone rings. I pick it up and look at it. I see who it is and answer

*Call Starts*

Me: "Hey Anthony"

August: "Hey. Beybe, can you check yo bed side table fa my chain? I can't rememba if I had took it off last night and I left it there dis mornin'. Cuz I can't find it in my stuff..."

Me: "Yea..."

I make sure Ava is secure then go up ta my room. I look on my table then check in my drawer. I didn't see it. I check my otha table and didn't see it

Me: "Yeahhh...it's not hea'"

August: "Damn, bruh"

Me: "Did you look carefully ta see if it was mixed in wit yo stuff...?"

He was quiet

Me: "Imma take dat as a no. Look carefully. And I'll look in my room. I'll let you know if it's found or not"

August: "Thank you"

Me: "You're welcome"

*Call Ends*

We hang up and I go back downstairs. Then my doorbell goes off

Me: "What tha-What?" I said outloud..."

I check Ava and she reaches fa me. I take ha down from tha high chair and put ha on tha floor. Then I go towards tha doe, hearin' ha right behind me.

Me: "Who is it?!"

???: "Jimmy"

I raise my eyebrow

Me: "Ion know a Jimmy. Who tha fuck is a Jimmy? Jimmy Neutron?"

I hear him chuckle. I saw nun funny...

Jimmy: "I'm Chris lawyer. Jimmy Langston..."

I scrunch my eyebrows and curl my lip. I pick up Ava then open my doe

Me: "Did he send you?"

Jimmy: "Actually, yes, he did. He wants me to speak with you"

Me: "About?"

Jimmy: "A lot. May I come in?"

I hesitate. But, I move so he can walk in. I can only imagine what he's finna say...
