I'm juss na gettin' back home. I'm tired. Hungry. I juss wanna eat, shower, and sleep. When I walk through tha door, I see rose petals all on my floor!
Me: "What tha hell?"
I close and lock tha door then toss my keys on tha table as I set my purse down.
Me: "Quees! What in the world-"
He comes around tha corner cutting me off.
Jacquees: "Just come on..."
He grabs my hand takes me into tha living room. He has it all set up wit candles, flowers, food. I look up and see balloons spelling out I'm sorry.
It's just overall romantic. I'm so thrown off because...fa one, I was t expecting ta see dis when I walked in. And two...it's his day ta have tha kids.
Me: "Quees. Where are tha kids?"
Jacquees: "With your mom. She agreed to watching them until tomorrow. Luckily, she likes me enough to do that..."
I juss look at him. He puts me on tha couch then hands me a dozen roses. I'm kinda thrown off right na...
Me: "Although, all of dis is beautiful...what is goin' on hea'? Please explain..."
Jacquees: "I thought back to our conversation that we had. I couldn't get it off my mind. It just kept lingering around..."
I continue ta stare. I'm juss...shocked.
Jacquees: "I really do hate tha choices that I've made. I shoulda been a way better husband than I was. We made a commitment under God. And I broke it. Completely. I also made a commitment to you. Which also should've been kept. I will apologizing for that as long as I live...."
