August POV:

I have neva been so pissed off ta tha point where I feel like I've lost my damn mind. I've calmed down a lil bit though. While I was cleanin' my kitchen counter...I seen Cha walk by all dressed up.

Me: "Where you goin'?"

Chandra: "Business. Find some"

Me: "You are my business. So, where you goin'?"

Chandra: "You've been nosey eva since yestaday..."

Me: "I'm bored"

Chandra: "If you had Riah...you'd have sum'n' ta do..."

Me: "Who? Ion recall knowin' tha person you juss mentioned"

Chandra: "Aug. C'mon na! Don't do dat"

Me: "I ain't do nun" I said as I laughed

Chandra: "It's not fair how you doin' ha"

Me: "As far as I'm concerned...I'm not doin' ha at all..."

Chandra: "Dats not what I meant, smart ass. Do you honestly think...she did dis fa ha'self? She has his daughter. She's puttin' ha first"

Me: "Not by puttin' ha danger she's not. But, eitha way it go...no matta what y'all say. And dis will be tha last of it...I'm done. Y'all do what chu want. But...me. I washed my hands of it."

Chandra: "Stubborn ass"

Me: "Damn right. I'm juss a stubborn mothafuckin' ass nigga"

She walks off and I continue doin' what I was doin'. I hope it got through ta ha...

*Chipotle*

Chandra POV:

I didn't know he could get anymore stubborn. Yea, he mad. But, he could at least talk ta ha. Ion like tha females he be fuckin' wit. But, MeMe's one I'm actually coo' wit cuz she loves him fa him and not fa what he has. When I walk into Chipotle, I see ha sittin' playin' wit Reina

Me: "Hey MeMe"

Mariah: "Hey Cha"

I give ha a hug and she hugs back.

Me: "How does it feel ta be a mommy?" I asked as I sat

Mariah: "I love it. Na...I think about ha befoe I think about myself and my feelin's. Dats my mindset na..."

Me: "Um. Trav tol' me what Aug said ta you"

Mariah: "*sighs* Yeahhh. He's um. He hates me"

Me: "He doesn't hate chu"

Mariah: "Yes he does. It's like he's disgusted wit me. I couldn't say shit back cuz he was right"

Me: "He's juss mad right na"

Mariah: "Nah. He's past mad. He can go a long time without talkin' ta me. Chandra, I lost my best friend. Fa good. Is it bad dat I wanna give my child sum'n' I neva really had?"

Me: "No. But, do you really wanna be in a relationship wit somebody dat hurt chu? Dats scary. You'll neva know when it'll happen again. Once dey start. It neva stops. Aug's tryna protect chu and yo child. He's not juss mad. He's scared, too. He may not be showin' cuz dats how he is. He's worried, too. He fears fa tha ones close ta him"

She looks looks down then sighs. I was juss lettin' ha know...

*2 hours later*

August: "Cha! Welcome back! Was it festive? Where'd ya go?"

Me: "Really nigga?"

August: "Juss wanna know"

Me: "None of yo business..."

I walk off then turn around

Me: "Oh yea. Mariah said thank you"

He looks up at me quick as hell

August: "What?"

Me: "She said thank you. Fa every single thang dat chu have done fa ha. Bein' there fa ha when you didn't have ta be. And lookin' out fa ha. She appreciates it all. You were a dope ass friend"

He chuckles

Me: "She juss wanted me ta pass dat on"

I walk off goin' upstairs

August: "Thank, Cha!"

I smile ta myself

Me: "Welcome!"

Na I hope he at least makes an effort ta speak. If not...it'll be his biggest regret

*Calabasas*

Mariah POV:

I missed bein' around Cha. She brings good vibes. When I get home, I see Chris car hea'. I asked him ta be hea'. Time ta make some changes...

Me: "Chris

Chris: "Livin' room"

I walk in there then stop and see he has a big ass bear with some read and white roses

Me: "*giggles* What in-Really?"

Chris: "Yea. I'm tryna get on yo good side. Come here"

I walk ova ta him then sit Reina's car seat on tha couch. He pecks my lips and I kiss back. He then hands me tha roses

Chris: "This bear is for her. Just somethin' from daddy"

Me: "Thank you..."

Chris: "You're welcome. You okay?" He asked as he rubbed my arms

Me: "Yea. I'm fine"

Chris: "I can tell you're not. And I can probably guess what it is..."

Me: "You guessed right"

He takes Reina out tha car seat, grabs my hand and then walks upstairs. He lays ha down in tha crib, we leave out and go into my room

Chris: "I'll put chu at ease" He says as he kisses my lips

I grab his face and look into his eyes

Me: "Don't make me regret dis choice. Dis isn't fa me. It's fa our child"

Chris: "You won't regret it. I got chu"

A lot of people do stupid shit fa good reasons. I'll juss have to be one of those people..
