I juss put my phone down and sigh wit my eyes closed. Then a touched caused me ta jump. I see it's juss August.
August: "Aye, you good?" He ask as he rubs my stomach
Me: "Yea. I'm fine. Juss thinkin'..."
August: "About what?"
Me: "Everything. From...all dat has happened. Tha people I fuck wit. Tha people fuckin' wit me. What Imma do about my home..."
August: "I undastand it's a lot on you, babe. Trust me. I get it. But, don't worry about any of dat..."
Me: "But-"
August: "I know. Juss dont. Why? Because I said so..."
I juss look at him. He wraps his arms around me and I look at him through tha mirror.
August: "It's comin' soon...."
Me: "How soon? Unless there's someone else behind all this...I know it's him. I know Chris. He has somethin' plotted up. Whateva it is...he's gonna do it. He does it an tha most unexpected, but right, time..."

I came all tha way to New Orleans, just to, for one, see my kids, and two...talk to B. And if I remembered correctly....I'm at tha right house because tha car in tha driveway looks like her mamas car.
I get out tha car and go knock on her door. When she opens it, she has this look on her face.
