I was so shocked about the book. I wanted to read the rest at home with Chance. WAIT, A MINUTE!! The storm, what about Chance? I was now practically trembling inside of the quiet library.

"Come on, we have to leave" I said demandingly while grabbing Lyssy's hand.

"Why?" She asked while being dragged behind me.

"Just because!" We approached the door to leave. There was a horrible storm occurring, it looked like there was going to be a flood and dangerous winds. I put the book in my jacket and told Lyssy to use her back pack to hold over her head;to stop the rain from touching her. She did so. I opened the door and looked for the nearest bus stop as we ran. I saw in the rain and fog that the bus just left. We couldn't wait another 20 minutes so I decided to run home. I told Lyssy to run and she listened. As we were running I saw what looked like a tornado. I watched in terror. I told Lyssy to be careful and run. We ran to the forest on the other side of the street. We stopped when we reached a large tree. I laid down and shut my eyes holding Lyssy's hand. I yelled for her to lie down and shut her eyes. She listened. It sounded like she was crying. I felt awful. I looked up and saw the tornado coming towards us. There was stuff flying every where. I lifted my head higher and got hit by a flying piece of wood that must of came from a house. I began to black out, I tried not to in order to save Lyssy, but I couldn't control it. The last thing I heard was Lyssy saying,

"Jessica?"

Everything became darker, until I fainted.
