Chapter 7- Passed

3rd person POV

Shuichi lowered his weapon once the last man was taken down. Hearing rapid footsteps he smirked, "You're late." His voice faded as collapsed.

Akagawa made it in time, and Shuichi fell onto her lap. His head was cushioned by her thighs, "Yeah, I tried to give Yumi-chan a hint of what was happening." Shuichi's blue orbs widened.

"Why?" He spoke as Akagawa ran her hand down his hair.

"She had the right to know, we carelessly involved her in it after all." Akagawa tried to hide the mischievous glint in her black eyes.

"Riga, let's be honest now. You were just using this opportunity to test her." Shuichi saw through it so easily.

"As expected of you." Akagawa leaned her head over his and blinked.

When she opened them, the beautiful orbs that put them in danger was revealed. Shuichi smiled, "I can never get tired of seeing them."

"Oh really? How amusing, you better not." The silver haired male only smirked from her response.

"I know, otherwise you'll have my head. Since I'm the one who did it." Shuichi's blue orbs glistened.

Akagawa rolled her eyes, she didn't was to hear this again. Though it was nice seeing Shuichi act like normal again. He acted so formal in school and it was driving her nuts. Though in response, she could say the same.

She was acting unreasonably formal at first, but Ayaha made her losen up a bit.

In reality, Akagawa wanted no ties that were breakable. She didn't want any betrayals, heart breaks nor separations. Akagawa wanted that if she broke them, she broke them because they wanted to. She only stuck around the people with red ties to her.

Akagawa blinked, making the eyes fade away back into the black orbs. Shuichi sat up, "That's unfortunate for me, but not so for you." He winked.

"Shut up." Akagawa demanded.

"As you wish." Shuichi laughed.

Ayaha made her way and went down on both knees. She bowed her head, "Yumi-chan, I really don't want to stop being friends with you! We just met today, and I enjoy being around you." Ayaha's shaky voice returned.

Akagawa slightly smirked, but it faded quicker than it came, "I did tell you to stay away from me. Your life could be in danger you know. You saw those men earlier right? If there were more Tadao might not ha-".

"I know. Though I still want to be friends." Ayaha felt tears fill her eyes.

Ayaha didn't know what those tears were from. Were they from frustration? Were they because her heart clenching to the point of her being unable to breathe? Within those few hours Akagawa and Ayaha have been together, the red haired female has made Ayaha felt like she belonged.

You didn't have to ask you know, if I can be with you then that's fine.

I've noticed-

Within those hours of being together, Akagawa has broken down Ayaha's facade and given her many things that she has wanted. To be noticed. For someone to realize. To have an opinion.

Shuichi rubbed his neck, "I say she passed. Ayaha-san is trembling, she's not used to this I guess."

"She's going out of her way, doing something she probably has never done until now, just for you." Shuichi poked Akagawa's cheeks.

Akagawa glared at Shuichi, "I will seriously bite your finger off." The silver haired male stepped away with both his hands up.

Akagawa thought for a moment, "Ayaha lift your head. Do keep in mind, if you decide to stay with me not only will your life be in danger but also there's no telling how people's view of you may change." Her red hair that flowed gently in the breeze moved like a flag.

It was a warning flag. Once Ayaha agreed, there was no turning back. Ayaha nodded her head, "I don't mind." She stood up.

Ayaha got up from her kneeling position and gently hugged Akagawa, "I don't want to lose my friends." She opened another arm and gestured for Shuichi to join.

With a small smile, Shuichi joined in the hug...
