3rd person POV

Akagawa opened her eyes but rather than seeing those dark black orbs, her eyes completely showed the mixture of silver, gold and red. Shuichi covered her eyes with his hand, "Blink, put them away." He spoke, his voice still shaking from the earlier event.

"Damn peasant, leave her alone." Akashi pulled Shuichi's hand off and yanked Akagawa out of his embrace.

He looked into her beautiful orbs and lost all words, "How long do you plan to stare, Akashi-san?" Akagawa smirked.

"Seijuro."

Akagawa froze and her orbs widened, "What?" Akashi turned his head slightly, covering the light blush on his face.

He took a deep breath and pulled Akagawa's chin to face him, "Call me Seijuro." He ordered, his left eye flashing due to her orbs.

"But we aren't-" Akashi stopped her comment and pressed his lips against hers.

Shuichi's blue orbs widened, he was about to stop them but Akashi's eyes flashed and just like the match, Shuichi's legs locked. Akashi softly wrapped his arm around her waist and deepened the kiss.

Akagawa's eyes glowed and Akashi was thrown to the wall, the red head coughing a droplet of blood. He smirked and wiped the blood of his lips seductively.

"This isn't the time to be fooling around." Akagawa glared, her cuts and bruises apparently healing according to her eyes.

Shuichi was finally able to move and shut Akagawa's eyes forcefully. "Please, no more. We don't know if you'll faint." Shuichi pressed her head against his lean chest and Akagawa sighed.

"That's no longer a concern." She tightened her grip on his shirt, Akashi stood up and Shuichi stood between Akashi and Akagawa.

"I knew you were a threat the moment I met you." He spoke, Akashi smirked and his left eye flashed.

Akagawa and Shuichi didn't know this person. The Akashi Seijuro they knew wasn't this kind of person. Then the thought raced through Akagawa's mind, "Did he become tainted?" Her voice trembled.

"What are you talking about Harigae?" Akashi grinned, he ran his hand down his red hair and loosened his tie.

"I'm the same Akashi Seijuro."

' Stop it! ' A voice rung in Akashi's head.

' You may be me but I won't tolerate this behavior towards Harigae. ' The voice continued and the Akashi in person completely stopped moving.

"Akashi Seijuro, you're my weakness. Why not just give this body to me? You've grown too soft, did you actually gain feelings for your servant, the pawn?" His voice was the same as well as the body but it was just the personality that was different.

' You're wrong. I didn't let you take over to forcefully make her mine. Ours. Even if you are me, I'm absolute. And that person is mine to discipline . ' Akashi's left eye stopped glowing brightly and went back to the normal heterochromatic orbs.

"Seijuro?" Akagawa spoke, the silver haired male reaching for the weapon in his pocket.

"What is it peasant?" The familiar tone of Akashi's voice returned and Akagawa knew he was back.

Akagawa ran from her position and hugged Akashi, she wrapped her arms around his neck and nearly cried. The thought of another victim to her taint made her tremble. She was glad that he wasn't one but she still didn't understand why he acted that way.

"What was that all about?" Shuichi sighed.

Akashi hesitated to hug Akagawa back. If his other self came back, there was no saying as to what he would do to her. But the sight of Akagawa injured made his blood boil, during the business party and even today...

He barely recognized himself.

Since when did he care so much for a pawn? Why was she always on his mind? The feeling of hatred turned to curiosity and then this. Did he really just do all of this trouble for one girl? Why did his other self strongly desire Akagawa?

"Seijuro, thank you for helping us today. It was you who saved me, I remember this scent at the building." Akagawa slowly let go of his neck, Akashi's arms still wrapped around her waist.

"Of course I did. You still haven't answered my questions and the month isn't over for our deal." Akashi genuinely smiled, the act surprising himself. Why did the smile come so naturally?

Akagawa took a deep breath and grabbed Akashi's hands. She thought deeply and when she opened her eyes, her metallic golden red orbs faded into the pitch black they've always been.

Akashi's heart raced but part of him wished to see those eyes again. Even if they just changed back to black, he missed the reason he fel-

No. He was an emperor, there was no time nor spare room for love. He was simply interested in her. Nothing more, nothing less.

"We should start heading to Okinawa, by he time we get there it should be at least lunch." Shuichi spoke, pulling Akagawa away.

Akashi nodded, though there was no need to rush. There was a helicopter landing nearby and they could make it to Okinawa within an hour. No need to take the plane for three.

Akashi put soundproof earmuffs on Akagawa's ears and gave Shuichi the spare one. The helicopter came on the landing and the door opened and the three sat on the seats after stepping in.
