3rd person POV

"But you will still go against each other. I will personally tell your next period teachers to excuse you. Next period is our free period anyway." The coaches agreed.

Akagawa sighed, "Give me the rest of this period. We'll do the match next period." Her main concern wasn't Akashi and the match but instead Shuichi.

"I hate agreeing with Harigae, but I will do the match next period. No exceptions." Akashi ordered.

The rest of the class groaned, the top male and top female player of this class period was going to have a match. Yet none of them could watch except Shuichi. Akagawa needed him for a certain reason.

"That's fine by us. Akagawa-san, what is your relationship with Shuichi-san?" The female coach looked at both figures on the floor.

"He is a childhood friend and my bodyguard. I don't see why this is a problem." Akagawa stood up, Shuichi silently standing up as well. Since the jacket was over his head he couldn't see.

The coach hummed in response and went back to the other coaches to discuss people's stats. The only person they were unable to identify and confirm was Akagawa Harigae. She was unreadable.

Akagawa walked down the hallway and into the locker rooms. She went into the girl's locker room because the guy's locker rooms was probably occupied by Akashi. She sat Shuichi down on the bench.

She took off her jacket and saw that Shuichi's left eye was red while his right was blue. There were no tears. Shuichi was depressed, but he didn't cry. In fact he was concealing his rage.

Akagawa cupped his cheeks, "I'm sorry. It's because we did that, you have to suffer with me." She hugged him once more.

She blinked once and her metallic golden red eyes were revealed, "Tadao listen to my voice. Remember, you're mine. No longer your mother's pawn anymore. Don't fade from me." The silver head male's red eye flickered blue.

"You are my childhood friend. My bodyguard. Don't forget this. You're not going to leave me even if you wanted to. This is an order, don't fade." Shuichi's left eye faded back to blue and tears finally began to fall.

Both blue orbs were filled with tears, and the warm tears trailed down his pale skin. He hugged Akagawa tightly, "Even though I said I wouldn't lose to anyone..." His heart clenched.

Akagawa ran her hand down his silver hair, "Akashi Seijuro is just different according to Yumi-chan he has never lost." Shuichi's grip tightened.

"So if I actually managed to defeat him, I would have been a step closer to you." Shuichi had a feeling in his gut that he didn't like. He only started to feel this once he met eyes with Akashi for the first time. It got stronger as the days passed, and now it felt like stones were being thrown in his gut.

Then he remembered.

"Another!" Shuichi broke the hug and looked at Akagawa's beautiful orbs. The female only tilted her head in confusion.

"Another-person-that has-changing-colored orbs. Akashi-san-can-change-his red eyes to yellow. Well-his-left-eye changed-to-yellow-" He got stopped by Akagawa.

"You're talking too fast!! Slow down! What about changing colored eyes?" That was the only part she understood she understood from Shuichi's words.

"Akashi-san's left eye turned yellow." Akagawa's own eyes widened.

"Go knock out the coaches." Shuichi nodded, he didn't know what Akagawa was planning but he trusted her.

The bell rang signaling the start of the next period. The gym was cleared out of students and only Akashi and both Coaches were left. Shuichi then walked into the gym and Akashi raised a brow, he knew from the obvious murderous aura that the silver head would do something.

Shuichi went up to the Coaches and bowed, "Please allow me to-" his figure flashed from their eyes and the next thing they knew, both were knocked out.

Shuichi chopped both coaches nape, knocking them unconscious. Akashi smirked, "knock both of you out." Shuichi finished.

"Depending on what I have seen, I can suspend or even expel you from this school." Akashi's smirk only grew when he heard the door open again.

When he turned his head, his red orbs widened. Akagawa's eyes made him speechless. She had the prettiest orbs he has ever seen, and this is saying something. Akashi has been all over the world because of business and saw orbs as extraordinary as red mixed with blue, heterochromatic, and And pure colors that could not be defined as actual colors.

Yet, Akagawa's was in a league of their own. Akashi's left orb was forced to fade to yellow and Akagawa's smirk faded as fast as it came, "Tadao was right."

"Riga-sama!" Shuichi was taken by surprise, why in the world did she walk out with both orbs out?!

Akashi threw the basketball to Akagawa, "How arrogant. A slight upgrade won't make you win against me. I'm absolute." She caught the orange ball easily.

"This slight upgrade could end your era." Akagawa made way towards the middle of the court where Akashi was. Akashi gave her first privilege to the ball.

With a single blink of Akashi's eyes, Akagawa vanished from his vision and was now behind him running towards the net. Akashi hit the ball out of her grasp but she merely extended her arm before it could get out of her reach.

Akashi scowled at how fast her reflexes were. A normal person wouldn't have been able to think fast enough to get the ball once he smacked it. Akagawa stood in a stance to shoot, but Akashi jumped up.

"You jumped too early." Akashi's eyes widened as she paused for a moment then shot.

Akashi's left eye glowed and the tip of his fingers barely scraped the ball. The shoot was going to miss. Though, as if Akagawa predicted she was already by his side and before the ball fell to the ground she grabbed it once more and dunked it.

Akashi fell to the floor, her reflexes were too fast. His emperor eye worked, so it wasn't bugged out like his match with Shuichi. Yet the court seemed like her domain.

"I guess I'll go all out as well." A smirk formed on Akashi's face. Akagawa's orbs only shimmered in his eyes, as much as he hated to admit it.

Those eyes amused him. It lit a spark of curiosity. Those eyes made him enjoy a match for once.

Those eyes, made his heart move.
