3rd person POV

Akashi heard the doors side open and close, when he looked up he saw Akagawa walk towards the teacher and hand in a pass that was written by the coaches.

"You and Akashi-san had a match, why did he return before you?" Akagawa said nothing and sat on her chair. She rested her head on the desk and focused on something other than the stare from Akashi.

"Hello? Are those ears for decoration?" The teacher glared, but Akashi growled in response.

"You gave us study hall. Silence yourself, you're bothering me peasant." Akashi's scowl sent huge shivers down the teacher's spine.

Akagawa smirked but of course it faded as her poker face stabilized, "Akashi-san, may I share the textbook with you?"

Akashi sighed, "How irresponsible." He pushed half of his textbook off the desk as Akagawa felt a small smile form on her lips.

She scooted her desk closer and began to read with Akashi. He didn't know when he got used to hearing her voice, but it's not so bad. Though his love for his mother was still strong, it made him feel closer again.

Her scent was different than his mother's, slowly Akashi was realizing that Akagawa was someone else. His mother couldn't play basketball, she wasn't good at it, but she supported Akashi the most. His mother...

Didn't have the eyes that Akagawa hides beneath those black orbs.

RING!

Akagawa pushed her seat back to how it used to be, and packed up her things. "Thank you Akashi-san." She grabbed her bag and began to leave.

Though before she could leave the classroom, Akashi slammed his hand beside her head. The movement scared the rest of the students out, including the teacher. Akashi looked at Akagawa's black eyes, "What happened to your eyes earlier? Why do you hide such invaluable eyes? I need answers Harigae, do not defy me." His demanding voice ring in her ears.

Akagawa looked at Akashi's red orbs, the left flashing yellow, "Though whether i decide to voice the answer to your question, is my answer. In other words, why would I tell you? What do I get from telling you a secret that bids my life?" Akashi had to resist the urge of stabbing Akagawa with his scissors.

"I am absolute. No one defies me, state your answers." Akagawa's figure flickered in his eyes, then she was no longer trapped in his hold.

"Well, I just did." The door shielded her from the scissors that Akashi threw. She closed the door just in time, and left to go eat lunch.

Akashi sighed, "Just like my mother too. Stubborn to the point of annoyance." He ran his hand down his red hair.

In the courtyard, Shuichi and Ayaha were already eating lunch. Akagawa's box was next to Shuichi and she went to get it. She sat next to Ayaha, and opened her lunch box.

She gave the small tomatoes and the egg to Ayaha, Ayaha's green orbs shimmered from her treat. Akagawa chuckled, "You must really love these." The black haired girl nodded in response and saved the tomatoes for last.

Shuichi ear's tingled, "Your name is being said." He spoke, making Akagawa and Ayaha look at him. Shuichi heard over the announcements, he heard Akagawa's name.

"Who's?" Both females said in unison. Which caused them to look at each other and laugh. Unplanned unison is unexpected as well as funny.

"Riga-sama, they want you to go to the student council office." Ayaha dropped her chopsticks on her lap.

Akagawa looked at her, "What's wrong?" She only got a look in return. The look of concern.

"Akashi-san is the student council president. If they want you to go to his office, it's usually a bad thing." Ayaha grabbed Akagawa's sleeve.

Akagawa let a small smile escape her lips, this was he first time Ayaha has grabbed her sleeve in a while. When they first met, she always seemed to hide behind Akagawa or grab onto Akagawa's sleeve.

Shuichi raised an eyebrow, "Do you want me to accompany you, Riga-sama?" He began packing up his lunch.

"No, I'll go myself." Akagawa smiled.
