3rd person POV
' It's all your fault. You tainted them, you caused their insanity. Akagawa Harigae, you should kill yourself. '
Akagawa shook her head, "No! It's not like I wanted them to break! I didn't want any of this!" She covered her ears.
' Your parents were even killed because of you. Because of you, Shuichi was dragged along into your harsh life. He could have been happy if he left you. '
"If you're trying to take over my body, it's not working. I've defeated you once before." Akagawa covered her ears, she was in a dream. She wasn't even awake, this was merely a trial from the god.
"Even so, you can't change the fact that you are a corruption to this world." The male god's voice boomed.
Akagawa knew, she was fully aware of what she did. Her sins. Though they weren't her fault. Her parents died from fire and her last memories of them was her mother trapping her in a room. The building collapsed and was bursted by flames, as a child she hid beneath the closest furniture. A chair.
"Do you intend on corrupting Ayaha Yumi next? Or what about Akashi Seijuro? Possibly even the whole basketball team? Or the colorful bunch you met the other day?" His voice echoed in Akagawa's ears.
Tears filled her eyes, she didn't want to be a taint. She just wanted to be a normal girl, she didn't ask for this. At the time, she would do anything to give Shuichi sight. He was the only thing she didn't regret.
Her head throbbed, she couldn't handle the pain of corrupting Ayaha. She was Akagawa's only cousin, the first person that she befriended when Akagawa transferred. The thought of the shy Ayaha made her head throb.
Did she really want such a pure person to be tainted and turned into the others? It was Ayaha who decided to stay though, so if she gets corrupted then it's not exactly Akagawa's fault, right?
Akagawa smacked both of her cheeks, leaving hand prints on her face. This kind of thought will make her lose control. Akagawa knew this was her conscious, if she lost it then the eyes would explode her body and vaporize the remains to cover any evidence.
"Why are you trying so hard to believe in something that you know is too good to be true? Do you really think you can keep yourself from corrupting more people? Akagawa Harigae, will you walk the earth carrying the pain of all the ones you've corrupted before?" His questions rang in her small head and even if she was covering her ears, his voice still managed to make her head spin.
At this point, Akagawa could hear her heart beat sync with the throbs from her head. She forgot how to breathe and choked in her own misery. Why did she matter?
If she died now, then Ayaha would have been safe from Akagawa...

As if Akagawa would leave Shuichi alone. They have been together through the toughest times and even when people bad mouthed her, it was Shuichi who completely swore his loyalty.
By that time, he stopped listening to everyone and even didn't listen unless it came from Akagawa's mouth directly. He was blind once before but she sacrificed her normal life for his sight. If she were to die now, then what would happen to her old eyes?
Will Shuichi go back to being blind?...
The thought of Shuichi going back to the dark world would be crueler than all the corruptions she has been through. Sure, they're both equally bad but it would be inhumane to make Shuichi see the world only to go back to the darkness.
Will he forget what Akagawa looked like? Forget how much fun it was to see the expressions of his enemies? To see the sunrise and sunset? Or even the stars on a clear night? Will Akagawa manage to handle the thought of him crying everyday because of his desire to see?...
Of f*cking course not. Anything but that.
"Sorry, but even then I don't want to lose the precious valuables I have now. As you said before, those dear to me will be my guide." Akagawa blinked, her majestic orbs revealing themselves.
Glowing brighter than they ever had before, Akagawa smirked, "I'm my own person. If people I love are going to be tainted, then the person has to be willing to take that risk." Her red hair began to flow as if wind began blowing in the small domain.
"The final trial is over, those eyes are completely yours." The god revealed himself, a soft smile on his face. He was glad, finally he can go without any worries, for this successor was truly a success.
"After all these years, I only get to see you once then you die." Akagawa scoffed, but the heavenly god smirked.
"Oh please, I'm still gonna have to make sure your partner is worthy enough. If you plan on having a family with someone, they too have a part in making sure the child can carry those eyes." The god spoke, making Akagawa blush. Did she really have someone in mind? Someone to start a family with?...
"So you're not completely gone, dang." Akagawa chuckled softly, as her conscious began to fade.
It's time to wake up, the other two are waiting for you.
