3rd person POV

"What?" Akashi's mind completely froze. But even if she's dead, there should have been some sort of document of her death. Not to mention, Shuichi is the same as well. The only information about him is the mother.

"That would have been your 6th question, that I'm not going to answer." She smirked, making Akashi glare.

Though he took a deep breath and sighed, "Yes, it was so unexpected. If I knew what you were going to say then I would have asked earlier." Akagawa was glad he didn't.

Akashi sighed, "Anyhow, would you grant me the pleasure of continuing this as a date?" Akashi stood up and extended his arm for her to grab.

Akagawa hummed, "Of course." She grabbed his extended arm and he escorted her out of the restaurant.

"Have you even decided where we were going to go?" She asked.

"I just needed an extra person, I have to attend a party later and it's annoying to have a bunch of females approach. I'm going to be using your presence to keep them away." Akagawa sighed but didn't complain.

Akashi appreciated her lack of response. If it was someone else, they would have gone straight home.

"Now then, shall we pick a dress?" Akashi walked into a shop full of designer dresses. Akagawa stared at all of them as if they held no importance.

"Yes." She intertwined her fingers with Akashi's, if she was going to play the role of Akashi's partner. Might as well do it correctly, Akashi understood and didn't say much.

Though he did hesitate at the feeling of her soft, warm hands. The shop owner bowed at the sight of Akashi, "Are you shopping for your girlfriend?" She asked.

"Stop with the foolish questions and bring some dresses that will look decent on her." Akashi demanded.

Akagawa realized he said decent instead of good or great. She chuckled, she didn't have anything to worry about. Akashi didn't see her as love interest, so she didn't have to worry about him making a move anytime soon.

The female rushed to get the dresses as instructed though out of all the ones she brought out, the one that caught Akashi's eyes was the black one.

The dress was strapless and the waist down, had thin fabric almost see through. Though the inner layer, was pitch black so nothing could be seen. There was a slit on the left up to the high thigh, and the gold on the waist exaggerated curves and the design reminded Akashi of Akagawa's eyes.

Akashi went forward and grabbed it, "Try this on, we can find a cardigan later, not that you'll need it though." Akagawa sent Akashi a glance.

"If it comes to it, I'll lend you my jacket." Akashi responded.

Akagawa hesitantly grabbed the dress as the lady gave her a set of black cut out heels that went up to her ankle. Without another option, Akagawa defeatedly wore the dress.

During that time, Akashi got changed as well. He got a matching suit that's black but the tie and belt was gold. Akagawa was too busy looking at herself in the mirror.

She didn't believe what she was doing. She wasn't forced to wear a dress for a long time. Akashi walked into her dressing room, scaring Akagawa.

"What would you have done if I was still changing?" She spoke calmly.

"Don't be unreasonable, there's no way you would have been still changing for this long." Akashi looked at her up and down and he tried so hard to keep his poker face but his face heated up.

Akagawa didn't realize, "You look great, no wonder people would kill to have you." She smirked, satisfied with the view. Akashi coughed, snapping him out of the trance.

"Of course, I'm absolute." He turned his back.

"Though you're more beautiful." He mumbled on his way out.

Akagawa grabbed her old clothes and walked out of the dressing room, Akashi was talking to the lady. "Take the tags off, we'll walk out like this." He spoke, the car was outside anyway.

Thts lady blushed heavily because of Akashi's looks and was wondering why someone like her was with this stunning person. Though the lady took the tags off anyway and escorted Akashi and Akagawa out.

Akagawa hummed, "So I get the death glare but you get the lovingly gaze? Seems about right." She entered the car when the driver opened the door.

He came while they were changing because Akashi called him. He driver was stunned by Akagawa's looks that he completely froze. The driver didn't even realize Akashi was already sitting down.

"You're not one to talk, you get some lovingly gazes as well." Akashi spoke, indirectly talking about the driver. Which, the said man unfroze and embarrassingly went back to doing his job.

Akagawa chuckled, "I suppose."

Akashi explained the situation and that she mustn't misbehave because his father will be there and many important clients will be attending as well. He also mentioned that if she were to get connections, they would help greatly.

"Also this is a business-type party, not some type of royalty ball." Akashi made a call, informing his father that he was on his way.

Akagawa rolled her eyes, she only came to answer questions. Not to be involved with Akashi's schedule. Though if he was going to use her, she might as well take advantage of this opportunity.

"Connections, huh?" Akagawa mumbled, catching Akashi's attention.

"Indeed." He replied.
