Ididn't expected that dinner will end well. Yes you heard me right, after we ate at the cake shop, I brought Bishop to our house to dinner just like what my dad wanted too. It's just that he really seems to be so different. As if he wasn't my cold and over protective father. He was having fun talking to Bishop. The scene was still vivid in my mind.

(A few hours earlier..)

"Where here. Are you ready?"

"Teka, 'bat parang ikaw pa ata ang mas kinakabahan kesa sakin? Is there something wrong?"

"Nothing Bishop. It's just that this is the first time dad will meet a friend of mine."

"Why? Didn't have friends before back in the states?"

"No, I don't have. Most especially boys. So for you to be inivited to dinner is quite surprising."

"Maybe your dad loosen his security barriers at you and he started to trust other people to go near you."

"Sana nga."

Nang makarating na kami sa entrance ng bahay, si Johnson agad ang sumalubong samin.Pinakuha ko na rin yung kotse ko na iniwan ko dun sa cake shop sa isa pa naming driver.

"Good evening Miss Aveline. Your parents and little miss Lily is waiting at the dinning room."

"Thanks Johnson."

"Good evening sir."

"Good evening."

Pumasok na kami sa loob. I let Bishop park his car at front para hindi na sya mahirapan pagalis nya mamaya. We walk straight sa dinning room as one of our maids took my things to my room. Nasa pintuan na kami nang mapansin kami ni Lily.

"Ate Ave! finally you're here. Hi my prince."

"Sorry we're late."

Agad naman tumayo si Daddy and mom palapit samin thenI kissed the both of them.

"Mom, Dad. This is Chistopher Alexander Valverde, my friend. He's from Wilford High."

"Good evening Mr. and Mrs. Sumner."

Si Mom ang unang bumati sakanya.

"Nice to meet you. I'm Mrs. Suzzete Sumner. Aveline and Lily's mother."

Sumunod naman si Dad.

"I didn't know my little princess here knows you too. I'm Mr. Ferdinand Sumner. Aveline and my little princess' father."

"Good evening Sir. Yes, I've met her before sa cake shop while she was waiting for her sister."

"That's right daddy. Bishop was so nice that's why he's my prince."

"Lily, what did I tell you about having a crush? You're too young for that."

"Let her be Aveline. Your sister just like to admire people. Besides I think this boy over here doesn't mind. Right?"

"Dad, he has a name. It's Christopher Alexander."

"By the way, why did my daughter called you Bishop? I heard her right diba honey?"

Tanong ni Mom sa Dad ko to confirm what she heard. Dad only nods at her.

"Christopher Alexander was too long for me so I decided to be called as Bishop. Mrs. Sumner."

"Please, call me Suzzete. Come, let's all have dinner."

As we take our seats for dinner, Dad and Bisho talked very casually. Dad, started asking about his parents, why did he come here to the Philippines, sports, and etc. the dinner was so filled with their conversation. Mom and I just listen to them. Dad seems to be so interested with Bishop. Lily was so happy to see her prince again. After our dinner and a few more private talk between Dad and Bishop, he decided to leave since like what he exactly said; "it was a school night".
