Chapter 10: Something's Wrong

I went back to watching over Xavier since Kystetra wouldn't allow me near Sentraya and Mau. I was really concerned when they called Nara to reach into their memories to find out their past, however I was even more concerned about Xavier. He hadn't awoken from passing out 3 weeks ago, but he was still breathing so we knew he wasn't dead. "Aurora?" A voice called out to me as I was re-wraping a wound that stretched across  Xavier's torso. I didn't look up to see who it was, mostly because I wasn't interested and I already knew who it was. I kept silent, finished wrapping the wound, and then looked at Alex, "What do you want?" I said with a passive expression. "I.....uh....was just wondering if you wanted to-", I cut him off "Before you say anything else the answer is probably NO,  I'm staying here since Nara is busy with those girls, and I will not move otherwise unless given orders. If they're your sister's order don't even bother." After saying this I went back to treating Xavier's other wounds and Alex walked off. He probably was just trying to help since I have been stressing over Xavier's care, and I can't lock myself in here forever. "Alex!" I yelled running after him. "Sorry I was so rude back there, what did you want to ask me?" "Oh, I was just going to ask if you wanted to go do something to take your mind off of Xavier and everything.", he said in a shy-ish voice. "Well what did you have in mind? I would tr-", I stopped in mid sentence something was't right, I became very alert to my surroundings. "Aurora?" Alex called out to me, he slowly realized why I started acting strange and stuck close to me. "Go find your sister or Blade, tell Rouge to meet at the gate." I told Alex, as soon a I was sure nothing was wrong close to us. Alex nodded and took off running to find Rouge, his other brother, and his sister.

I was standing at the gate for a few minutes when Rouge came running towards me. "What's the problem?" He asked out of breath, "I don't know yet but something isn't right. Don't ask me how  I know, I can just tell." He only nodded in response, "Check around the upper part of Saregami, and if you run into Haradock tell him but no one else. I'll check the lower end of Saregami, remember expect the unexpected and keep your guard up, understood?" "Understood." 

I made it to the heart of Saregami submerged deep within the volcano, I didn't dare send Rouge down here mostly because he would probably get lost, and partly because there where still some places where magma still resides. I relied mostly on instincts and my enhanced vision from living in a cave for as long as I can remember. I rock falling behind me from the ceiling rattled my nerves a little, and I started walking a little faster, not wanting to stay in the same place for to long.

*Mystical Time Skip*

35 Minutes

Everything was pitch black now, I could barely see where I was going anymore, the only light was a few small patches of molten lava that had surfaced here and there. I kept walking determined to find what was making me so on edge, and I was getting closer to it the further I went. I got the sense at one point that I was walking in circles, so I stopped mapped the surroundings that I could see, discovered that I had somewhat been walking in circles, in fact I was walking down a spiral staircase into the very heart of Saregami. The next thing I know the ground starts to shake and I'm on my hands and knees, with rocks falling all around me from the ceiling.

Once The ground stopped moving I rushed back up The stair case and found Nara as fast as I could. Knew about as much as I did, but I did learn that while I was gone Xavier had woken up from his coma. Rouge ran I to me and he said he didn't find anything unusual, I told him neither did I, then I went to go find Haradock to see if he knew anything about what I thought might have been an earthquake. After about 25 minutes of searching I finally found him suiting up in his battle armour. "What's the problem? Why is everybody panicing and in a rush towards the front gate?" I asked hopeing to get a clear answer. "Dragons are back..." He was cut off by a loud roar that shook all of Saragmi. Then he rushed outside.

Sorry for the short chapter guys but I had to come up with a good clif hangar for this chapter.
