Chapter 3: Xavier

Silently I walked towards the man, hiding in the shadows, I left traces of my presence and made some slight nosies, when I reached him I climbed my way up the closest tree to him. Once he turned his back to the tree I was in, I jumped down behind him, and my sword strapped across my back was the only noise anyone could here. Startled he turned around; "W-who are you and w-where did you even come from?!" I did nothing but stare at him with piercing eyes for some time; finally I said, "You should not be asking such stupid questions. Instead you should be valuing your own life, but instead you are the one who is showing so much disrespect to me that I have half a mind to kill you where you stand at this moment." Keeping a strait face through the whole time I spoke the man before me was stunned, and had apparently not noticed the sword on my back. "You are a woman, how could you possibly hurt me? I am much stronger than you and could easily pin you to the grou-", enraged I had a dagger to his throat before he could continue insulting me. "That was a extremely IGNORANT response! Just because I am a woman you think that you naturally have an advantage over me?" Pressing my dagger slightly harder again his throat, I took the hand pressing him against the tree away and motioned the others to come out of hiding. Fear spread over his face, I laughed slightly enjoying the expression on his face. "Now you are coming with us, and you will come quietly before I change my mind and kill you now." He nodded and I took the dagger away from his throat, he tried to attack me and I easily side-stepped the attack. He fell to the ground and I just stood there with an unreadable expression on my face, "Try that again and I won't back off...", my comrades laughed and I jerked my head to look at them, they instantly stopped, and picked the man off the ground. 

Once we returned back to Saregami, I took the man down the hallways to where I was once held during my first appearance here. I shoved him in the room and shut the doors behind me without letting him get one word in; soon Nara showed up, I told her about the man, and it might be a good idea to keep me near incase he got violent again. "No, I should be fine. Aurora you forget that I have been here much longer than you, and that I have many encounters with the violent type when they are brought here." By the time Nara had finished I was already looking down at my feet because I was being extremely foolish and not to mention rude towards Nara. Gently Nara placed a hand on my shoulder, "I understand your concern Aurora, but I assure you I will be fine." She opened the doors and entered the room, leaving me standing there looking like a complete idiot. 

Some time later Nara exited the room and told me the mans name was Xavier. "Xavier? What a strange name, I guess we were both still pissed at each other to talk very much. After all you taught me Nara about keeping my cool my anger still controls me." I looked up to see Nara eyeing me cautiously,"What?", I asked. "I'm allowing him to stay here, but he will need to be watched. Considering you two have already met I thought that you would be the best person for the job." Best person for the job my ass! "WHY ME?! I almost killed him and needless to say we aren't on the best terms at the moment." Realizing I was shouting I quickly shut my mouth, "Pardon my rudeness Nara." Clam as ever Nara said, "You are the only person we can spare at the moment everyone else is busy, and you're always complaining about how you have nothing to do." DAMN IT! Why the hell does she always have to be right and rember EVERYTHING! Sighing I replied, "Fine, I guess I have no other option anyways, but won't that interfere with my patrols?" Nara answered, "Yes, and you will be excused from your patrol duties for now. Your comrades will be more than fine without you there." You're an ass Nara, sulking I replied, "Fine if that is what is required of me then alright I'll do it." 

Xavier Age: 16 and a half
