I woke up feeling quite a bit of pain in my broken hand. Everything was fuzzy and my eyes weren't adjusted to the light yet, but when my vision finally came into focus, I saw a red-headed boy about my age tending to my hand.

"Don't worry. Were not going to hurt you." He said. "We're just here to help you." Next to me, Mau was waking up as well. I flinched as the boy moved my hand in a position that sent a fiery pain through my body. He quickly returned it to normal to stop the pain.

"If you are here to help me then you'll tell me who you are and where I am." I snapped at him trying to sound as confident as I could.

But, all he did was shrug and say, "I am not authorized to give you that information." I frowned. The way he said that almost sounded like he had practiced it. This kid never looked at me. All of his attention was on my injured hand.

"Why are you doing this." I said as he continued to inspect my crushed hand that was now wrapped in bandages.

"Seeing it's healing process and making sure that you don't injure it more." He said blankly still refusing to look at me. I was starting to get a little annoyed with this kid. "You've fractured many bones in this hand. There is not much we can do beyond the care it has been given, besides let it heal on it's own." He finally was finished inspecting my hand and gently placed it on the ground. For someone who was being so gentle they weren't talking that much. Finally he looked at me. His eyes were a deep green in the lighting of the room. "Might I ask how this happened?" He asked. What was with this guy and his formal talk?

I squinted at him, "Why should I tell you?" I said sternly. He sighed heavily and turned away.

"Look, we wish to protect you, but we need to know more about you first, and that hand clearly wasn't broken by accident. You must have been in a fight. What happened?" He asked again. I could feel my veins start to boil. Who was this guy, acting like he can do anything and that I don't matter at all! All these people care about is the information I can give them. Well it's not happening.

"I don't need to tell you anything." I said again sternly. He sighed again in defeat, then went over to my sister to talk to her. I felt like screaming at him! How dare he! All he does is kidnap me, tell me that they "want to protect us", and then all he does is try and get information! They'll probably just kill us after they get the info they need. I tried to get up, but my sore body wouldn't let me. Wow, they aren't that carful to not even bother to tie us up. It took all the strength I could muster to stand up though. He  ran over to me and tried to convince me to sit back down, but I was done listening to his crap! "Now listen here mister! I don't know who you are and you refuse to tell me where I am, and you expect me to tell you anything!?!?" I yelled getting right up in his face so that he wouldn't be able to escape. "If you expect me to do anything for you then at least tell me what the crap is going on!" I yelled even louder this time. He took a few steps back, startled by my sudden change of attitude. I was about to continue when two other people grabbed me roughly by the shoulders and dragging me back to the wall. Both had flaming red hair like the boy, but one was a girl older than me while the other was a boy that seemed about my age like the other boy. They held me back against the wall not giving any hint of gentleness or fear. "What do you want!" I shouted more like a demand rather than a question.

"Look, my little brother seemed to have been too nice to you when asking, but we aren't letting you go with out a fight. So, tell us; what happened and how did you get so close to our headquarters?" The older girl said giving me a hard, cold stare.

"If you don't tell us now. It will be forced!" Said the boy as he gripped my shoulder harder, surly giving me bruises. I wouldn't dare show that he was giving me pain. All I did was spit in his eye. The whole room seemed to go quiet after I did this. He inhaled deeply and slowly whipped the saliva off. When he looked back at me, his eyes were raging with fire. "Alright that's it! Your going to Nara!" He said and dragged Mau and I off.

(*Mystical Time Skip*)

Mau and I spent hours in a dark room being 'read' by some creeptastic girl named Nara. When it comes to this freak, what they call 'reading' is more of trying to reach into the memories and thoughts of her victims. It felt as if a hand was reaching into my mind, searching for something. Something that I couldn't understand. But, eventually she started getting deeper into my recollections, so deep I could see them too. She was reaching to the memories of the attack on my village! Something I couldn't let leak out. I did my best to block my thoughts from her, but there came a pic, I soon found out. For every time she tried to break through, it sent a searing, fiery pain through my veins that seemed to threaten to burn me from the inside and out. But, I held on through it. No scream left my mouth. However Mau was different. As Nara tried her little trick on her, Mau would scream out cries of pain. She was fighting it too. I knew she would figure it out before it was too late. Would if these people were the ones who attacked are village. They would kill us if they found out that we were the only survivors. The only reason we came out of there soon was because this girl, Nara, wasn't all bad. It seemed to hurt her to see us suffer from this, especially little Mau. She had tears in her eyes as my adopted sister cried out.

"I don't like this place." Mau said to me breaking me from my thoughts.

I shook my head. "I don't like it either. But, don't worry we're gonna get out. I promise, and this time I have a plan." I said still looking over the large map hung on the wall that I had been studying for the last hour or so. I had no idea what time if was, but I was guessing it was about dusk now. If I could just find a way out of the room they had been locked in then we could run off with the map, and that way we would be able to find our way. But, just in case we couldn't make it out with the map, I was trying to memorize it.

"I can't find any way out of here! We're doomed!!!!" Mau said and started to break down and cry again. I immediately ran over to comfort her.

"Shhhhh. I promise everything is going to be alright. We'll get out of here. I promised I would always protect you right?" She nodded. "And I always will." I said and embraced her in a big hug. That's when someone unlocked the door and walked in. Mau and I jumped up, but the door had already been relocked. It was the boy that treated my hand when I awoke. I could already feel anger rushing through me again. I ran up to him and yelled, "What do you want!?!? Haven't you already done enough to us!!!!! I'm tiered of everyone's crap here!!!! Let us go you freaking idiot!!! Who are you anyway?!?!?!" I felt like punching, I felt like fighting, I wanted to strangle him so bad right now I think I was going to explode!

"Calm down. I'm here to help." He said and embraced me in a hug. "I'm so sorry..."
