Everlasting Love

Chapter 2

Astrid

"I'm beat. I hope that Dad hasn't worn himself out with the preparations for the ball. I know it's my duty as a Princess of Berk, I have to obey his commands, but sometimes I worried about his well being." I said.

As I was dressing up, I looked at the dress that Hiccup helped me picked out. He did say it looks  good on me. I decided to check it out. I grabbed the dress and transformed my long hair into a braid, so I can see. As I looked at the mirror, I smiled brightly at the mirror's refection. "Well, Hiccup does know what he is doing when he knows how to choose dresses for me." I suddenly thought about him. He looked sad of thinking about his poor mother. He hasn't seen her since he first arrived at the castle.

"I have to do something to cheer Hiccup up. But what can I do?" I asked myself. As I was thinking, I noticed a stranger was leaning in the side of my bedroom. "Hello, Princess." He said, grinning at me.

"Who- Who are you? I will tell my father-" I began to say to the intruder, "Oh, I think you wouldn't have the chance to yell, Princess." He replies as he kidnaps me from my bedroom and teleports me to the beautiful Cove of Berk. "Why you brought me here?" I asked.

Drago

I knew that Astrid is the one I should marry. She was my Everlasting Love. The Princess asks me as she looks around the Cove, "Why you brought me here?" I laughed at her, "Why I want to propose to you, Astrid."

"What?!? I don't know you!" She yells in disgust. "Allow me to introduce myself. I am Drago, the most powerful Wizard of the Isle." She backs away in fright. "I heard stories about you. You were my grandfather's Royal Wizard and you betray his orders and you were so angry at him, you were banished from the castle forever and never seen since."  

"Well, I changed since then. I am more powerful than before! Now I need someone to be on my side, and I decided that you will be my wife!" Astrid said, "There is no possible way that I will marry you, Drago!" I got angry at her, "You had one chance, Princess. Say you will marry me and nothing will be harm to you."

"I said, no!" She yells as she tries to get back to the Castle of Berk. "That's it! I had no other choice, Princess!" I raised my wand from my sleeve and pointed it directly at the Princess.

Astrid

I run as fast as I possibly can from the Wizard and he raised his wand on me. "You are done, Princess Astrid!" He yells at me. I gasp in freight as the magic surrounds me. I couldn't move an inch until I transformed into a light- blue Deadly Nadder!

"What you do to me?" I asked the former Royal Wizard. He smiles at my confusing state.

"I put a spell on you, my dear Princess." He explains. "You declined my offer, and this is what you got."

"No." I gasped as I looked at my wings and tail, ashamed of what I've become.

Drago said, "You will transform into a Nadder only when the Moon rises. So, my dear Astrid, you don't have much of a choice, don't you?"

I cried in shame, "You- You are a monster!" He smiles again of my anger and rage. "We will see each other again, Princess." He disappears from me.

"What shall I do now?" I said, "I can't let anyone see me like this!"

"You don't have to be alone, Astrid." A new voice said.

I turned to the person who was speaking to me. "Who is there? Show yourself!" I said.

The shadow came out to be a black Night Fury and he seems to be sad of what happened.

"Are you ok, Astrid?" He asks me.

"I think so." I replied to the Night Fury.

He sighs. "I am so sorry that this happened to you. Don't worry, I'm not going to hurt you. I'm here to help you."

I looked at the Night Fury curiously. 

"You are?" I asked.

"Yes. I am." He replies.

"What's your name?" I asked.

"My name is Toothless." Toothless replies.
