Hiccup
As I was wondering thru the lsle of Berk, I thought of how I was peaceful little village, and I knew that nothing is going to stand in my way. "Hiccup Horredous Haddock!" I hear a voice calling me. I groaned, knowing who it was. It was my best friend, Fishlegs, a busboy to the Princess Astrid of Berk. "What is it, now, Fishlegs?" I asked, looking at the Viking. "The Princess was looking for you everywhere!"
"Oh, is she now?" I asked. I am Hiccup Horredous Haddock the Third, a servant to Princess of Berk, and my mother forced me to look after the Princess of Berk. "Indeed, she is, Hiccup. I think you are in love with her since you were kids?" Fishlegs giggled at the memory of us when our parents forced us to bond with one other. "Come on, Fishlegs. You have to be out of your mind! That was years ago, and besides there is no possible way she would love a peasant, and she wouldn't love me."
Fishlegs looks at me with a curious look, "Why you don't see it is possible that you both like one other without realizing it?" I scoffed, "Please, just let this go, Fishlegs. If Princess Astrid wants to see me right now, I have to leave." I walked away from him, as he yells, "Think about it, Hiccup! You would end up together before you realize it!" I rolled my eyes as I walked to the Castle gates of Berk. "Here it goes." I mutter. Then I saw her. The Princess of Berk. "Hello, Princess." I greet her formally. "Hiccup." She said.
Astrid
Ever since I can remember, my father, Stoick, wanted me to have a suitor. Apparently, I don't like the idea. Hiccup saw me as he returned the room. "Hello Princess." He greets me. "Hiccup." I said.
Hiccup looks at me, "Are you all right, Princess?" "Hiccup, you don't have to call me , "Princess." Just call me, "Astrid." I replied to the pesant boy. "Ok, Astrid." He replies. He seems unsure of me. "Is something wrong, Hiccup?" I asked. He realizes that I was concerned but it seems surprised coming from the Princess of Berk. "Oh, it's nothing, Astrid, so what you need me for?" He asks, trying to change the subject.
"I need your help of choosing the right dress. The King is offering a ball in two nights time, and I got to admit, I'm nervous of meeting suitors. He laughs, "You, the Princess of Berk, nervous about meeting suitors? You'll be fine!"
"Are you sure about this?" I asked him, feeling unsure. "Of course! So let me see the dresses." He suggested. I showed him a pretty blue dress with diamonds or a light blue simple dress. "Hm. I think...." He said, deciding for me, "I think the light blue dress suits you." "Really?" "Yeah." He said. Just as I was about to thank him, the King has arrived. "Astrid, we need to talk. You, peasant boy, you need to leave." Hiccup nods and bows respectfully to me and the King.
Hiccup
I closed the door behind me, something felt tingling inside of me. What is that? I remember of how I first met Astrid. "Mom, I don't want to leave you!" "But you must, sweetheart! It is requested by the King of Berk! Besides you will be a personal servant to his daughter." I gasped in fear, "The Princess of Berk?!?" She nods, "Yes, the very one. Now, promise me you will do what she commands, ok?" I hugged my mother. "I'll miss you." "Go on, my little Hiccup." She said.
I haven't seen my mother ever since I moved into the castle of Berk. I wonder what is doing now. I went to my room and took out a quill and ink and write a letter to my mother. "Dear mother, things in the castle is just the same like every day. Nothing has changed, but Astrid is growing beautifully as a swan, and as for me, I had grown too. I wish that I have the chance to see you again, Mom. I hope you are well. - Your Only Son, Hiccup." I folded the letter and sent a Dove to deliver the letter. Just like that moment, everything I knew will change forever.
