Everlasting Love

Chapter 4

Astrid

I groaned from the fall. I guess that I still have to learn how to land as a dragon.

My Dragon transformation disappears as I dust my self off.

Hiccup said, "What the-"

I knew I have to confront him, either he likes the outcome or not.

"Hiccup?" I asked him.

He was in total shock of seeing me in my blue dress.

"Astrid, where did you go? Your father and I were extremely worried about you!" He said.

"I'm so sorry, but you deserve the truth of what happened to me." I replied.

He looked confused of my explanation.

I looked at the sky. The sun was bright as the yellow flower and I knew that when the moon rises, I will become a dragon, all because I refuse to marry a enemy.

"Astrid, what's going on?" Hiccup asks me, looking concern. I hear a familiar sound of magic coming to the Cove. "Hide." I told Toothless and Hiccup. Toothless immediately scoops Hiccup as I face Drago.

The Night Fury scoops me up and we hid behind the trees watching Astrid.

"What the name of Thor is going on?" I asked.

"You have to see for yourself, Hiccup." The Night Fury replies.

"Wait, you can talk?" I asked the Night Fury in total surprise.

"C'mon, it's not that you didn't see that coming, didn't you?" The dragon laughs.

"So, you know what happened with Astrid?" I asked.

"Just watch. All your answers will be answered." He replies.

Astrid appears not frightened of who was coming, but I knew deep down, she was.

A dark cloud appears and reveals a Wizard.

"So, Princess how you feel since I cast that spell on you?" He sneers.

"A spell?" I whispered to the Night Fury.

He nods in confirming.

"The answer is still no, Drago. I'm not marrying you." She stated.

"Hm. You really have that stubbornness from your father, don't you?"

"I learnt from the best." She replies.

I had to admit, she's cute when she is feisty.

"You know what happens when the moon rises tonight, my dear. Think about it." Drago said as he disappears.

She sighs, "You two can come out now."

The Night Fury and I came out of our hiding spot.

I said, "Astrid, you're under a spell by that Wizard?"

"Yes, I am." She sighs.

"There has to be a way to undo the spell!" I said, taking her hand towards the castle.

She pulls me back into the Cove, "Hic, it's no use! By the time the moon rises, I'll turn back into a Nadder."  

"Astrid, I'm not leaving you." I said.

She and I stared into each other's eyes and then something happened.

Astrid

I see the sky turns dark and the moon begins to rise.

I back away from Hiccup as the magic surrounds me to transform into the blue Nadder.

"You have to leave, Hiccup." I said.

"Astrid." Hiccup said.

"I know it's a lot to take in right now. Please, go back to the castle." I said.

Hiccup said, "Astrid, I promise that I will find a way to undo that spell. I won't stop until I do."

He runs fast he can. I turn to see Toothless was gone as well. I was alone.

"Toothless?" I asked, looking for my Night Fury friend.

I have to help Hiccup. He can't face Drago alone.

I spotted the boy continue to run towards the castle, I knew what to do.

I kidnapped him and scoop him on my back and fly.

"Whoa! You!" He said in surprise.

"I know you and Astrid are meant to be together and I'm going to help you."

"You will?" Hiccup asked.

"I will." I replied to his answer.

"What's your name?" He asks me.

"Name's Toothless. I met the Princess just yesterday. I saw her that night when Drago attempt to marry her." I explained to the boy.

"Marry her?!?" He said in anger.

"Trust me, she didn't like that idea either."

"What can I do? I'm just a peasant boy."

I said, "No, you are more than that, Hiccup. I know you are. You just have to believe in yourself."
