I didn't even have a chance to protest. She pulled me outside and got in the car so fast that my brain didn't even register what was going on until I was buckled up and we were gone. "Won't Lucas and John worry about where you went?" I asked.

She gave me a look that said she didn't care if they did or did not and then turned her attention back to her task. Before we left I stopped her and said, "Hey I do have stuff in that house right over there by the way."

She stopped and gave me a quizzical look. "I don't think it's a good idea for you to go back there. I feel like it'd be too stressful," she say warily.

I looked at her in the eyes and said strongly, "Look. It would be stressful, but I have to face my fears and issues in order for them to be solved. Also, it's better than taking advantage and going to get new stuff when I have a roomful of stuff over there."

She opened her mouth to speak again, and I could tell she wasn't quite convinced so I interrupted and said, "Also, aren't you at least a little curious to see the aftermath of what happened?"

"I've already seen it. My husband is a cop and after Lucas told us everything he took his friends to investigate. After all it was a crime scene. It looked awful. I can't imagine what it was like. I know you don't wanna feel like your taking advantage of us, but I assure you that your not. I don;t mind going shopping with you to get some new stuff. After all, it gives me an excuse to go shopping."

I sighed and realized she wasn't gonna give up. I gave her a half smile and said, "Fine we can go shopping. But I still am going to go over there to grab some stuff later."

She rolled her eyes and chuckled, "I guess that'll work." Then we both jumped into her car and went to a shopping center. It was still a little early, but I was surprised to see that almost no one else was shopping. Lucas' mom must have saw my confusion, because she laughed a little and said, "This is why I do my shopping early in the day."

We went to a few shops. She ended up getting groceries and got me a new outfit. I protested a little, but after realizing how cute it was I said alright. After that we went back to her house and  took a little trip over to that place that I used to live. I wanted to call it home, but the word didn't describe it anymore. At the moment, I didn't have a home.

At first Lucas' mom protested about me going over there, but she finally agreed when I said if she came to then there wouldn't be anything to worry about. We walked around to the back of the house and saw that the sliding doors were wide open. We walked inside, and I immediately ran up to my room. I grabbed the essentials, so my tooth brush, hair brush, some clothes, and of course my books, then we left. Back at her house, I stashed my stuff in Lucas' room. Then I quickly ran into the bathroom and showered. When I was done, I put on my new outfit. It actually made me look nice. It was a white blouse and a red tank top. Then I had a pair of blue, knee length jean shorts and a wide brown belt that went with them. After getting everything with my outfit fixed I put my socks and shoes on and worked on my hair. I ended up letting it hang down once I brushed all of the tangles out.

Once I was finished I opened the door to find Lucas there with his hand up. It looked like he had been about to knock. He put his hand down and looked at me. His eyes widened, and we both started to blush. "Umm you look pretty," he said awkwardly as he brought one hand up to mess with his hair in a cute way. I smiled and took in his appearance. He had on his Star Wars PJ's, and his hair was all messed up, but he was still adorable.

I chuckled a little and replied, "You do too," before walking past him and into his room where all of my stuff resided. I put my brush and stuff up. I was about to walk out when something caught my eye. On Lucas' desk he had a cute little R2-D2 paper-weight holding down a piece of paper. I walked over and picked it up because it looked so cute!! When I was done looking at it I lowered my hand to sit it back on the paper.  hesitated though when my eyes saw my name on the paper. I sat the droid on the desk and grabbed the piece of paper.

I briefly wondered if I should even read it, after all it wasn't mine. My curiosity sparked and I decided that I'd go ahead and see what he had written down.

Willow, I know I haven't known you for that long but I can't help feel pulled toward you. I can't stop thinking about you and it' s driving me crazy. I really like you Willow. I know it sounds crazy but I do. I can't explain my feelings but ever since that day when I climbed over the fence into your backyard I knew there was something special about you. Happy Birthday :)  P.S. Wanna be my girlfriend?

I blushed as I read the paper. No one has ever liked me that much before. I sat down the paper and put the droid back in it's place. Just as i did, the door to Lucas' room opened up and he walked in. He was still in his PJ's, and my hand still hovered over the paper. Lucas said, "I just came back to get my jeans," then he saw where my hand was and said, "Umm did you read that?"

My cheeks heated up and I meekly nodded. I looked up at him and saw that a hopeful smile was frozen on his face. "Well what did you think?" He asked. I walked over to him and placed a quick kiss on his cheek then chuckled as I walked out. I paused at the doorway and he asked, "Wait, does that mean yes?"
