He jumps off the last step and I fly down with him.
I stumble down and lose my balance when I hit the sidewalk. I begin to fall and feel his strong arms catch me. I look up and he is holding me as if we were dancing and he just dipped me, looking striaght into my hazel eyes, it feels like he is looking straight into my heart.
I realize and I believe he does at the same time that he hasnt pulled me up and let go of me yet. He yanks me up gently but still holds me in his arms, never looking away from my eyes.
I feel someone slightly run into me and he loosens his grip and looks away from me. He looks up and we both see that it was Jenna, she is the same bus stop as him. He lets go of me and keeps his eyes on her but not in the way you would think, it looks as though he is trying to read her mind, that look mixed with a glare could send someone running. But she just glared right back as if they were talking in their minds and no one else could hear them. I wanted them to stop so I shifted in a way where I bumped into Chad and he looked away and back down at me, his face softened and he straightened up.
I see him lean down and grab my hand, intertwining his fingers. He starts walking away from her and she walks in the opposite direction.
He doesnt say a word to me about what just happened or why he took me off the bus with him, he just slowly guides me to where I'm guessing is his house. I feel nervous and I honestly dont want to go with him or I will do something stupid. But there is this bigger part of me that is begging to stay with him and never let go of his warm callused hand.
I glance up to see what his facial expression is and he is looking straight foward with a nuetral face.
"Should I ask about Jenna back there or just keep quite?" I nearly whisper but he doesnt say a word, he just turns onto a big driveway and walks up the front steps of a big white and light blue house.
The house is large and simple on the ousitde with a small garden on either sides of the front steps. Their is a garage slightly farther up the driveway and a flag blowing in the small breeze just above the door. A lovely house really.
When we step inside the house is much larger looking then it did on the outside which surprises me. The house is elegant and and i dont see a single speck of dust on any surface. Impressive, I wish my house was this fantastic.
"Chad honey, is that you?" A womens voice calls from further in the house.
"No mom, it's a murderer that sounds like your son." he responds, a small smile plays on his face. I lightly giggle and his smile gets bigger when he hears me.
"Hello baby." His mother says getting on her tip toes to kiss his cheek.
She is much shorter than him and has half her hair pulled back with a large clip. Her hair is long wavy and a dark brown, very much unlike Chad's, but her eyes are the same bright blue.
"Hi mom." he says slightly blushing by her kissing his cheek infront of me.
"And who is this?? You brought home a girl!! My little baby is growign up so fast!!" She hugs his waist tightly and tears start forming in her eyes. I smile polietly at her and she comes over to me quickly, wiping her eyes on the way over.
"And what is your name?" she asks, we are about the same height and she looks straight at me.
"I'm Ann, Ann Carter, we go to school togther." I gesture to Chad lightly and her face turns into the biggest smile I have ever seen.
"The Ann Carter?!" she presses, her smile not fading.
Chad reaches over and grabs his mom by the waist and pulls her away from me a little. He leans down and whispers just loud enough for me to hear "Mom, c'mon your embarrasing me!" I hear he giggle lightly and brush him off.
