Chapter 15

Hey guys!! Okay so last night I updated my story and posted it and everything but then I went back and added some stuff so you may want to go check if you had read the last part!

I walk in my house and see my mom cooking in the kitchen, she is on the phone and is talking very fast.

I walk in the kitchen and she gasps almost dropping the phone and giving me a slight heart attack.

"Annie, my baby where have you been it's so late and you didn't call or pick up your phone when I did?"my mom questions coming closer to me and giving me a hug. "Hold on Judy I have to go she just got here." my mom states into the phone and hangs up.

"I was going to just come straight home but then well...I didn't" I nearly whisper.

"Where were you, Ann?" her soft tone no longer exists and I break.

"I was with Chad.." I whisper once again.

"Chad?!!?!?!?, OMG what did you do? What did he do to you? Did you use protection? please tell me you did!!" My mom questions and pleads in a rush.

"Oh my!! Mom STOP!!!! Nothing happened! Once we got to his stop he just took me with him. I had dinner with him and met his parents, his mom was wonderful!" I explain and my mom lets out a big breath and smiles.

"So are you guys like dating now?" she winks and bumps her hip into mine.

"Well that's what I was wondering for a while. So I finally asked him and he said he didn't know so I asked him if he wanted to date me and he said yes and then I asked if he was asking me out and he said yes" by kissing me I leave out "And then i said yes and well yeah. He just walked me home." I rant to my mother who is all over me now, begging for information she can get her hands on to go gossip about with other mothers.

"But mom please don't say anything to anyone, as far as I know, no one else knows besides you, him and me and I'm pretty sure his mother got the tip off." I explain and my mother gasps.

Geez could she stop with gasping or I may actually have a heart attack!

"What?! You haven't told anyone!??! I would be telling everyone and making sure it rubs straight into that girl Jesica's face!" my mom scolds me fo not being a basic bitch.

"Jenna, mom. Her name is Jenna." I roll my eyes.

My mom just shrugs as to say Whatever I would do it!

"I haven't told anyone, not even my own friends-" I run past my mom, cutting myself off.

I run and grab my phone, sprint up the stairs and into my bedroom, closing the door behind me.

I run and sit on my bed to look at my phone. 

"Shit." I whisper as i look at the screen.

10 missed calls from Mom, 4 missed calls from Krista-boo, 1 missed call from Unknown(#), 3 text messages from Mom, 6 text messages from Krista-boo, and 1 text message from Brendan.

My phone states and I freak out and call Krista back immediately after looking at her texts that said 

"Dude, you said you would call me."

"Pick up your phoneeeee"

"RAWR"

"Pick up, like now!" 

"Listen hear you piece of sh*t, pick up your damn phone!!!"

"Please, I swear I will be nice...sorry about that last text..."

I call her and she picks up on the second ring, yelling into the phone "OMG I was worried! I thought you were dead because I even called your home and your mom said she had no idea where you were and you weren't picking up your cell!!" I screams, rushed and paniced.

"Hey, calm down I'm fine I was at someone house, and wasn't checking my phone." I state leaving out Chad's name of who's house I was at.

"Oh you must have been with Brendan then, he's been acting so weird lately-" she begins to speak, assuming I was with Brendan.

But I cut her off "No I wasn't at Brendan's.. I was at.. umm.. Chad's" I squeak and she starts to laugh in the phone.

"What!?!?" I ask over her laughs.

"What? Chad! Yeah okay I'm sure you were. HAHAHA" I start to get angry and yell into the phone.

"YES Krista. I was with THE Chad Matthews! The jock Chad Matthews! The Chad I liked in 6th grade! I met his mother and she was very nice and we all had dinner together and if yyou weren't busy 'doing it' with your fancy little boyfriend I could have told you the whole story that is now a super long story so I didn't want to tell you at school!" i literally scream, completely out of breath by my confession.

"Wait? Your serious. Oh my- wait what? explain" she sasy queitly.

Thank God!! She gets it already!

I explain the whole story and she of course stops me at the juicy parts like:

"OMG wait you guys did not kiss behind the school! that is so cute!!!" she squeals.

"OMG what?! this is so unlike you!! He is sooo into you!"

"AWWWWWWW that's so cute!"

"My little baby is all grown up!" she fake sobs into the phone

Wow. I can't tell if she really does care or she is just making fun of me because nothing has ever happened like this to me before.

"Hey I have to go my mom is mad cause we are like screaming and it's really late." Krista tells me and we say our goodbyes and hang up.

I look at the clock and it is 11:30. Wow time flys.

I check the text from Brendan and it says "Hey where are you?" 

I choose to just not respond because I really don't know if I want him to know about Chad, well at least not yet. And I know I never keep anything from him but I would'nt know how to put it.

I see that the unknown # left a voicemail and I listen:

"Hey Ann, it's me Chad is you didn't save my number from before. Umm well I was wondering if you wanted to hang out again tomorrow? Oh and also I never really umm like date people so I don't really know what to tell anyone.. I guess we will figure it out tomorrow then becuase I am just a little umm... nervous to be honest. Well sorry for calling so late. Goodnight. OH and you forgot your little jacket here when you took it off.. well umm now goodnight."

I have never heard Chad so nervous, he was stuttering in the phone like a confused baby.

I look around the room, hey my jacket is missing, well I guess I will get it tomorrow.

I slowly fall asleep, dreaming of a tan boy with his arms wrapped around me, holding me tight.
